I own a Maytag washing machine, had it for two years and ten days. It

developed a serious problem, only to have the service technician tell me

the water pump, belt, and pulley all need to be replaced. Because I was

10 days over the two year coverage on parts, it is going to cost me

(with the service fee included) over $300 to repair. This is on a

machine I hoped would last over 10 years. Needless to say, I am not

enamered with Maytag washing machines and will avoid purchasing a

Maytag/Whirlpool product in the future.
