Cal Coast Repiping is Very Unethical and Greedy

Cal Coast Repiping, Chuck Vershaw and Ed Michaud are the most dishonest

people I've ever met. They won't do a good job and won't stand behind

their customer service statement. They use terrible laborers and they

look like they just picked them up on the street. None of them spoke

english or had much experience. Use a real plumber and stay away from Cal

Coast Repiping. It was honestly the worst experience of my life. Very

UNETHICAL and greedy people.

I just had my house repiped by Cal-Coast.

Ed was here about 40 min. Walked me through the proccess ,explained the type of materials etc. He printed up a proposal gave it to me and asked me to call if I wanted them to do the job. No sales pressure.

I called two other outfits. Both came in with computers and spent an hour showing me happy customers. Neither one had a clue as to what the job entailed.

Both called their office to get me a DEAL. All I got was a business card with a price on the back. Twice what Ed gave me. Both outfits said a week to ten days to do the job.

Ken showed up with his crew and 8 hours almost to the min I had water back on. This included a 100 foot run to the meter.

Next day the patching crew were here for 4 hours and did a great job.

The building inspector was very impressed with the job.

I had one minor leak at a sprinkler manifold. I simply used the shutoff valve they installed and called.

It was taken care off in a VERY timely manner.

I had read complaints about Ed on other web sites. A total of two dating back to 2007.

I am sure someone who is a knit picker will find something wrong with every contractor.

I have been in this house for 47 years and have dealt with many contractors.

None have been more professional
