Vonage won't let you cancel!!

Vonage US www.vonage.com After having some problems with Vonage's customer service, I've recently switched my phone number to a new company. This was the prelude to the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER! I called Vonage to cancel my account. The customer service rep named "Kay" refused to allow me to just cancel the account. I spent all together around 45 minutes (1 hour with hold time and "Kay" hanging up on me the first time!) before she would just cancel the service. I asked to speak to her supervisor, that's when she hung up the first time. I called back and had to wait in the call queue again and unfortunately got the same customer service rep! Again, she give such a difficult time to cancel the service! This experience was SO BAD that if Vonage dropped their price to $1 per year for unlimited calls, I still would NOT switch back to them. Their customer service is horrible. Their call quality isn't so great either and we've had quite a few technical problems along the way which mysteriously come and go. DO NOT USE VONAGE if you care about having decent customer service!
