REBATE NOT RECEIVED AFTER 6 MONTHS

Purchased monitor with a $150 rebate back in March 2007, vendor advertised 12-16 weeks to process rebate, it's been 26 weeks and after 2 calls they keep promissing check in 2 weeks but nothing is received, this is a scam and I will take my claim wherever is necessary so this company stops abusing buyers that trust on theri advertising, what they do is against the law. They don't even provide an explanation or contact you regards the daly on the rebate.

After waiting for 9 months I finally got my check in the mail last week. What did I have to do? well, tired of calling customer service and getting no answers I decided to post a complain in the BBB for the area of this company. I did that at the end of November, by the end of December the BBB replied to me that unfortunately they tried to contact the company several times and got no answer. I was ready to file a complaint with the Federal TrAde Commision when surprisingly I got the check last week. I'm sure the BBB contacting them made the payment possible and I'm proud to know that we still have organizations like the BBB and FTC in the US that can protects us from scams like this. My suggestion: do the same like me, post you complain to the BBB and hopefully you will get your check in the mail after one month.

Good luck - as for me, I'm not buying a single thing from these type of companies over the web, I'll be safer using the old bestbuy/circuit city web stores and they have good deals too!
