I purchased a 42" HDTV from Baillio's in Santa Fe, NM. I was told at the time of purchase that there would be a one day drop-off and then the installer would be at my home within the next two days following drop-off. I was also told that for an extra fee the installers would install speakers, dvd players, vcr's, hide wires etc. for an extra fee. The drop-off was on schedule but I never heard from the installer. I called my salesman and was told he would be there the next day. NOTHING! I again call, but my salesman was not working that day and a young lady helped me. She called the installer, who by the way, had never heard of me until that moment. He didn't call me until the following day to set up an appointment. The installers came but did not complete the job. I called the supervisor and was told that he would come on a certain afternoon between 12:00p and 5:00p. NOTHING! I finally connect with him and I am told that he wouldn't be able to take care of me until after the Holiday. BIG COMPLAINT - Why was I bumped to the following week? The person scheduled for the following day should have been bumped. They show up late in the afternoon,after the holiday, and are in my house until 9:30p. Did not complete the job due to equipment failure (not their fault, equipment I had inherited upon the death of my dad). Cables, and other necessities were not available to complete the job. I had no clue what they needed. I should have been consulted as to what I wanted installed so they could either obtain or have me purchase the proper cables, etc. The kicker is my bill was almost $800.00, and they still have to come back. I am very frustrated and disappointed as to how I have been treated. I felt my money was not green. I was told untruths, I took off work needlessly, and then was charged an absorbanant amount of money for an uncomplete job. It will be very hard to use Baillo's services ever again. I don't know that I can afford to have them back again to complete the job. Please understand that the installers were at all times very nice. It was the process, untruths, and amount of money that took me off guard and frustrated me beyond shock.
