Enterprise Ren-A-Car / Car Rental

Enterprise Ren-A-Car / Car Rental

Rented a Gray PT Cruiser - Plate S517UP on 08/01/07 from ENTERPRISE / =

Doral Office (Miami, Fla.) Tel. (305) 477-4788 and, by accident, =

dropping my keywallet, with 5 / $20 bills inside it, on the floor on =

the front seat - passenger side, just before I returned the car to their =

Doral Office!

After visiting the office, about one hour after I returned it, and =

several times and days there after, was told, time and again, by their =

counter employees Carlos, Benito, and Natalie, that the car had been =

rented out, from the moment I returned it, it was still out and they =

didn't know when it would be returned. I even asked them to contact the =

renter on his Cellular and was told they couldn't do that.... no further =

explanation, or consideration given.

When I phoned ENTERPRISE Head Office, learned that the Enterprise Staff =

at the Doral Office had lied to me, every time a visited the Office, =

and that the PT Cruiser had been returned to them 4 times, since I was =

returned by me on 08/07/07.

I wrote a complaints letter to their South Florida Administrative =

Office, Coconut Creek, Fl.; and also to Donald L. Ross, President and =

Vice Chairman, 600 Corporate Park Drive, St. Louis, MO. 63105-4211 - =

Tel. (314) 512-2000. Mr. Ross kick my complaint letter back to a Daniel =

W. Gass, VP/Consumer Service, also in St. Louis, who in turn, kicked it =

down to a Kurth Marzolf in their Coconut Creek, Fl., office, who =

finally phoned me to just, Bla, Bla, Bla, about the whole =

incident...can't remember "what was fueling him"!

Their marketing slogans, "Work hard to be the best", and "Fueled By =

Passion", are both real empty jokes!

Trust complaint.com readers learn a lesson from ENTERPRISE, and how much =

they "really" care about their customers!

Sincerely,

Vicente Timiraos

Doral, Florida

Avery similiar incident just happened to our family. We returned a car to Milwaukee Enterprise and caught a plan to Kansas City. My son realised during the flight that he left his ipod in the cup holder inside the car. We called not even an hour after dropping the car off to let them know that somebody would be there later that day to pick it up.The first response from them was " if it is still there" you can pick it up. As it turned out, the ipod was not found which I find ethically disturbing. The ipod was there 100% for sure. So basically, it was stolen. We have been boofed off by enterprise and now am not sure where to go from here. This was a 12year olds gift he bought for him self. Any suggestions?
