We have lived all over the country and now reside in Olathe, Kansas. I

rented a DVD and returned it in a metal box named Friends of the Library

along with an audio tape rented by my husband. Apparently neither item was

found at the library destination. The library has charged us about $100

together, put a stop on our library cards and turned us over to a

collections team. Discussions with them are to no avail. I refuse to pay

these fees since I returned their items. Never had a problem with a single

library in any other state. Any ideas? thanks, Carrie
