MENARDS STORE #3170 DEFI MY COMPLAINT IS THE WAY MY DAUGHTER WAS YELLED AT THE STORE BY THE = MANGER OF THE STORE. THE STORE IS MENARDS STORE # 3170 DEFIANCE OHIO = ADDRESS 08845 STATE ROUTE 66N DEFIANCE OHIO 43512 WE WENT TO THE STORE TO GET MORE SIDING FOR THE HOUSE . SHE NEEDED ONE = MORE TO COMPLETE IT . SHE ASKED THE SALE PERSON TO SEE IF THEY HAD IT . = THEY CHECK IT . THEY HAD IT. I THE MOTHER PAID FOR IT . WE WENT TO THE = BACK TO PICK IT UP . THEY COULD NOT FIND IT .WHAT THEY FOUND WAS = WRONG.SHE TRY TO TELL THEM IT WAS WRONG . THEM THEY FOUND THE RIGHT KIND BUT IT BELONG TO SOMEONE ELSE ORDER AND = THAT THEY COULD NOT GIVE IT TO HER, SHE UNDERSTOOD THAT. ALL SHE WANTED = TO DO WAS ORDER THE RIGHT KIND. THEN THEY GOT THE MANGER INVOLVED , HE = WALKED UP WITH ANGER IN HIS VOICE . MY DAUGHTER TOLD HIM NOT TO USE THAT = TONE OF VOICE WITH HER. ALL SHE WANTED WAS TO ORDER THE RIGHT KIND. AT = THAT TIME SHE WAS UPSET. THAT WHEN I TOLD THEM TO STOP YELLING. I TOLD THE MANGER THAT I HAD A DISABILITY I HAVE ESSENTIAL TREMORS. AND = THAT HE OWE MY DAUGHTER AN APOLOGY HE SAID HE WAS NOT GOING TO . THAT = HE DID NOT DO ANYTHING WRONG. HIS YELLING WAS WRONG , AND I WANT SOMEONE = TO APOLOGY. AND I WANT HIM OUT OF THIS POSITION, BY THE WAY HE HANDLE = THIS. I WOULD THINK THAT SHE BE REIMBURSED FOR THE TROUBLE THIS HAS COST ME.I = HAVE THOUGHT OF GETTING A LAWYER FOR THE WAY I ALSO WAS YELLED AT AND = THE WAY THE STORE HANDLES DISABLED PERSON, I AM VERY UPSET. IT HAS BEEN = VERY HARD TO TYPE THIS . I WOULD LIKE A RESPOND FROM YOU. THANK YOU DONNA From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Thursday, 27-Sep-07 11:58:23 CDT Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This Comment On Thishi donna, i too had a run in with that same manager. he is very rude and acts like he owns the store... little does he know that poeple who shop at menards are what pays his salary!! i think in due time, the more and more people find out about menards the less they will shop there, maybe he will be the one they let go (wishful thinking) when they do job cuts. one of the stores employees made a mistake and printed out the wrong materials list for us on a deck we are getting done. after having to miss work , pay all that extra gas money taking everything back plus having our contractor show up and not having materials to work with, ALL HE SAID HE COULD DO FOR US WAS GIVE US 100.00 OFF OF OUR BILL.well, for one that dont even cover the gas we spent for thier mistake but after looking closley at our bill he never gave us any money off our bill. i brought it to thier attention and they said it was done thru thier merchandise and they marked down the price on our spindels to give us the 100.00 off. come to find out..
