To whom it may concern:

 

I just want to inform you about the poor service that I recently received at the Kew Gardens office. I currently live in Tampa Florida and needed to have my last 2 years of my mammogram sent to me due to a suspected lump in my breast and this year’s pelvic sonogram. When I called to have my films sent, I was told that they could not mail them to me and that I had to pay $30 for the films plus have someone pick them up and mail them to me in Florida via FedEx.

 

Finally, when I got to my appointment on 9/24/07 in Tampa the technician realized that the mammogram films were not MINE!!! The films are in the name of someone else. In addition, to make things worse I also had a pelvic sonogram done at Doshi in Rockville Center and did not get those either! I did not get what I paid for due to slackness at the Kew Gardens office. As a patient and customer, getting the WRONG mammogram films and NO pelvic sonogram film, should not have happened especially since my health at is at risk. When someone’s health may involve breast cancer or any other critical illness, more care should be given to make sure everything on your part is correct. There is a credibility issue here because, I am wondering now when you are told that there is nothing wrong, maybe there is due to slackness.

 

How the staff handles important patient information should be investigated. During my July 26, 2007 appointment, if I did not read my paperwork, I would not have realized that I had the wrong form meaning one with a different name and my insurance info on it. I was also given along with my insurance card another persons insurance card once again, SLACKNESS!!!

 

I still need my last 2 years mammogram film including this years sonogram film and should be reimbursed for the money I already paid for films and postage $45 due to inconvenience since I no longer live in New York. I am willing to take this as far as I can because now I have to wait again reschedule my appointment until I get the correct films while further putting my health at risk because of the delay.

 

I have used their services for at least 5 years and will now consider looking for another reliable imaging center. So far, I have I have called Doshi Corporate office and still no response.

 

Very Poor Service / Very Upset
