MIDWEST AIRLINES

MIDWEST AIRLINES My family & I travelled from Las Vegas to Hartford Ct via Midwest with stops in Milwaukee both ways. 3 out of the 4 flights were late, with the last flight being late due to NO PILOT!!!! This caused us to miss the last flight out to Vegas and had to spend the night in a sorry hotel, with food vouchers and no place to purchase food. What can $8 get you at the Milwaukee airport.....basically nothing since most meals are $8+ not including anything else, but the voucher can't help when everything is closed. This is not the most disturbing part of the complaint. Upon check in on-line for our flight out (which was an overnight flight) a window pops up to upgrade your seat for $60, a seat which is described as having a headrest, foot rest, and wider seat overall. Wow what a great idea for an overnight flight. What they don't tell you is that not all of their aircraft have these seats. Yes, you guessed the flight we were on and purchased the "upgraded" seats did not have a headrest or foot rest similar to a recliner as stated in the pop up window. So essentially this was a complete waste of money. After a call the the customer service dept of Midwest Airlines and speaking with a supervisor, we were basically told "tough luck". They would not compensate for the false advertising on the seats and lack of information that only "specific" planes have these seats, as well as no compensation for the fact that there was no pilot to fly the plane to Milwaukee and the fact that we missed a day of work and additional parking charges at the Las Vegas airport. How's that for customer service? Also, the flight attendants have no personality, are curt and sarcastic. -- April Nestor Precision Color Digital Imaging 4475 W.
