Complaint on service of club Menage in Pasadena

My complaint sent to them:

I visited Club Menage on Friday night after extracting information and the address of the location from the club website. As I waited in line with three other of my male friends I witnessed two women enter into the club ahead of me no problem or questions asked. Then I was approached by the doorman who informed me that Sept 14 Friday night was by reservations only and that I had to be on a parties' list. I asked him if this was for every Friday and he responded it is for every Friday and Saturday night. I went home after being rejected admission and researched the website and communicated with some friends that got into Club Menage problem free on a Friday night without reservations.

Nothing on your website states reservations are needed on Friday nights. I would like to request a copy of your club policy which states the appropriate terms verbally communicated to me by your doorman. As you may know that any misleading representation by an agent (doorman) of your establishment is considered false advertising and as the principal of the agent you would be held liable.

The objective of my e-mail is to reach a resolution and get down to the bottom of things. At the present time I feel I was discriminated against for being male and given a misleading excuse for refusal of admission. Even though Club Menage is a private establishment under California case Angelucci v. Century Supper Club, favorable treatment of women over men at clubs is considered discrimination.

I'm disgusted by the treatment I was given as I had friends visiting from out of town and my only intention of going to Pasadena was to go to Club Menage. When we were not allowed admission we just went home in frustration feeling like we were discriminated against and lied to. Please respond as soon as possible so we can clear up this matter.

The Menage club in Old Town Pasadena charges high price in alcohol and entrance fees. The bouncers are very intimidating. They choose who they let into the club. They will also kick people out for drinking too much or buying too much alcohol. Don't go into this club. It's a waste of money. The bartenders compete over you too. The people who work there are very rude. I never have a good time there. You're better of going somewhere else.
