DIRECT TV DIRECT TV scams their customers by promising one price and then charging another. I had agreed to $29.95 per month, only to discover I was billed $49.95 the first month and $59.95 the second month. I wrote to the company headquarters in Colorado via email and received a phone call from a very rude woman who assured me they were right and I was wrong. When I threatened to notify the FCC they gave me $20.00 credit. That still does not resolve the overcharging, so I am waiting until the next bill and will follow up with a reminder. I am a 73 year old widow living on social secuity. Does the government really do anything about this type of business practice? What is our world coming to when a highly advertised business practices fraud?
