Air Jamaica Air Jamaica Flight 40 04/14/2007 BWI
The plane was loaded and ready to leave when we heard baggage being handled below. I looked out the window and saw luggage being removed form the plane. The pilot announced the plane was overloaded and the luggage would be left behind. What we found out after landing in Jamaica was 40-50 passengers luggage was left in Baltimore. We did not receive our luggage until late the next day. What made this situation worse; we were traveling in a party of 10 for a wedding in Jamaica. I will be sharing my experience with anyone that will listen. This is unacceptable service. I think we should be compensated in some way for not having our luggage and having to purchase items we needed
