Direct TV I find it incredible that businesses that practice deception get away = with it. I signed up for 1 year @ $29.95/month. My first bill was $49.95 and the next = $59.99. Now I'm being told that the operator must have made a mistake. However, I have all = original documents that had been sent, soliciting my business and have emailed the company = headquarters in Colorado. I received a call back from a very rude woman = who assured me I had been given=20 false information when I signed up. I told her I had the mailing and = offered to send it to her, but she declined. Finally, I received a $20.00 credit but was told if I cancelled before 1 = year, I would suffer the consequences of a bad credit report. It is so difficult to deal with business and takes much time. Where is = the FCC. Does anyone know if they really do anything with complaints? = Not according to my experience.
