Hi,


Ref to above Mobile number and complaint number 532189416, I would like =

highlight such unacceptable customer service from Airtel.



I am mentioning the sequence of events:


a.. Filled up completed form and submitted all the annexure on 21st =

Sep-07 where categorically GPRS was requested on urgent basis.

b.. Inserted the sim at 12:30AM on 23rd Sep-07 and found GPRS not =

activated. Called up customer service and was told that updation is =

going on hence no information can be given

c.. Called at 7:45AM on 23rd sep-07 and spoke to the agent to =

activate. The CSR could not help. Advised to send the request through =

SMS which was done and subsequently got acknowledgement from Airtel that =

the matter will be resolved within one hr. Nothing happened

d.. Subsequently called after 2 hrs and followed the same SMS =

process. Acknowledgement received but no action taken.

e.. Called up customer service and asked to activate on line. It was =

told that server has some problem hence it will take long hrs.

f.. Sent a GPRS request for the phone number 9840724836 for checking =

authenticity. it was reactivated within 30 min.

g.. Sent request for GPRS activation form number 9789066256. It was =

acknowledged the same way. But nothing happened.

h.. Called the customer service and enquired about the GPRS activation =

for 9789066256. Same answer "Server problem' and subsequently =

disconnected the call without informing me.

i.. Received an SMS with ref number 532189416.

j.. Answered to the SMS with dissatisfaction.

k.. Received again a SMS acknowledging "will get back within 24 hrs"

l.. Received a call subsequently from 9940065860 at 3:05PM which was =

not picked up by me.

m.. Subsequently received an SMS that somebody was trying to reach me.

n.. Answered to the SMS. Received an acknowledgement as "will get back =

within 24 hrs

o.. Answered SMS with dissatisfaction to 121

p.. Received acknowledgement SMS that " We will get back to you on =

priority"


I am tired chasing. I have decided to deactivate the connection with =

immediate effect. I am thoroughly dissatisfied with your customer =

service with a one day old customer whom you should give priority.
