WARNING Direct TV

Direct TV promised over the phone before installation that we could watch programs simultaneously while taping on the DVR. Wrong. Wait until loud dirty bizarre installers were all but done before informing us that was not possible, as they were not authorized to drill another line into the house. Too late to cancel. INSTALLATION WAS ABOMINABLE. |Wrong cable attached. No signal, broken signals. Husband had to call Best Buy to get step by step installation, where tech kept asking which company installed - and was not surprised to hear it was Direct TV.

Called to cancel quickly after more problems and were told we would have to pay a THREE HUNDRED DOLLAR committment fee. WHAT A SCAM. Were informed by a supervisor that we "should have been told" about that. What a RIP OFF - these people are what gives American business a bad name. What an extremely UNETHICAL company this is. Too many details to report. They insist the satellite dish is ours, up there on our house as free false advertising for them... and it says in the contract it's their property and we are responsible for replacing or paying for it. huh? This Company's going under.
