Office Depot puts the customer ahead of everything! Yeah, right!

To whom it may concern,

I bought a Wacom Bamboo Tablet from Tech Depot over amazon.com.


After 6 days passed, I called to learn about my order, because not one e-mail informing me about the situation of the order was sent. To my surprise, I couldn't reach them because it always said that they were out of business hours.


So, as another solution, I tried to use the form on amazon.com to reach them. But still, no reply.


Finally, I decided to call amazon, and told them the situation. They told me they would reach me back in 1-2 business days. And as a company their word can be trusted, they did. And an hour later, I got a message from Sharon Palmer from Tech Depot, telling me that the product was out of stock and they would have in two weeks. She asked me if I wanted to cancel or wait.


I told that I found it very inconvenient of them to tell me this, after I try so hard to reach them. At that time, only office depot was selling the product so I told them that I had to wait, because I needed the product. But I told them that I requested a faster shipping as soon as the product is in stock without any extra payments. (because with 2 weeks delay and 7 days of not informing me, it would make 3 weeks in total)


To my surprise, today I got this e-mail that they canceled my order. And in the mail, it says, "Thank you for choosing Office Depot for your technology order at

Amazon.com. We regret to inform you that, Tech Depot, an Office Depot Company, is unable to ship the product(s)listed from your order. Unfortunately, Amazon.com requires that we cancel any orders that cannot be shipped within five (5) days. Amazon.com will process your credit card

refund." And they just realized this, after I contacted them 7 days later!


So, they just decided not to deal with me, and cancel the product because I asked them for a faster delivery for no extra charges! Arrogant! They could've told me that this wasn't an option. Then I would've decided to cancel, but nooo, they cancel it for me! Amazing customer support. Really, stunning!


But it's been a good experience for me to know not to shop from Office Depot ever again and tell as many people as I know not to trust Office Depot. Fortunately, amazon.com started selling the item themselves, so I went ahead and bought it today. I'm certain of their quality and the importance they give to customers, so no surprises ahead!
