rebate on sears delivery of appliances

I mailed in a rebate for a washer,dreye and pedistals delivery charge of 45.00 on 11-24-2006, the same day they were purchased and as of 09-20-2007 after calling them about this on 06-25-2007 I still have not received my rebate. If they do not intend to refund my 45.00 why do the offer this. I want my money and I will never do business with them again if I don't get the rebate. I have since bought another appliance from them and because of the trouble of this rebate I didn't go to the trouble of applying for another delivery rebate.

I also bought a new stove and dishwasher from Sears . I sent in the rebate forms the same day for delivery . I finally received a postcard saying my rebate form was damaged and to resend the required info. There was no other information on the card, just a number to call which was never answered by a real person. I soon found out that many people who bought appliances during this promotion received the same little post card. It sure seems strange that so many rebate forms and info were received damaged. Sounds like a real rip-off ..and shame on Sears for taking advantage of their customers this way. I love my new appliances ,but because of the rebate ordeal, I will not deal with them again.
