Airline tickets/services US www.orbitz.com / www.nwa.com Wednesday, Sept 5, 2007 Northwest Airlines # 3791 Flew from Birmingham, AL to Detroit Wayne County *Everything went ok
Wednesday, Sept 5, 2007 Northwest Airlines #94 Flew from Detroit Wayne County to Dusseldorf International *The man at the Northwest gate where I had to check-in looked up my flight schedule and realized on my trip back home on Sept 16 Orbitz/Northwest had me on a flight that did not even exist anymore (Sunday, Sept 16, 2007 Northwest Airline #95 from Frankfurt International to Detroit Wayne County) and I was NOT informed in any way by Orbitz or Northwest. So he changed my boarding passes/flight schedule for Sunday, September 16, 2007 which you will see below.
Thursday, Sept 6, 2007 Iberia #3523 Dusseldorf International to Madrid Barajas *Everything went ok
ORIGINAL: (which never happened) Sunday, Sept 16, 2007 Spanair #125 Madrid Barajas to Frankfurt International
Sunday, Sept 16, 2007 Northwest Airlines #95 Frankfurt International to Detroit Wayne County **This was the flight that I had a boarding pass for that was completely CANCELLED without my knowledge**
Sunday, Sept 16, 2007 Northwest Airlines # 5864 Detroit Wayne County to Birmingham
CHANGED FLIGHT SCHEDULE:
Sunday, Sept 16, 2007 KLM Royal Dutch Airlines # KL 1700 Madrid Barajas to Amsterdam Schiphol *This flight had a delay of over 2 hours due to mechanical problems; therefore, making me miss my flight from Amsterdam to Memphis, TN which you will see below.
Sunday, Sept 16, 2007 Northwest Airlines # 57 Amsterdam Schipol to Memphis International **Never happened because of the mechinal problems with the airplane in Spain
So the KLM ticket office in Amsterdam the only option I had to get back to the USA to get to my business meeting in New Mexico was to fly the following:
Sunday, Sept 16, 2007 KLM Royal Dutch Airlines # KL 0643 Amsterdam Schipol to New York JFK International **This flight had a 2 hour on-plane delay due to mechanical problems; therefore, making me miss my flight to Raleigh- Durham which you will see below
Sunday, Sept 16, 2007 American Airlines #4721 New York JFK International to Raleigh-Durham **I missed this flight due to the 2 hour delay in Amsterdam (above) which made me not be able to rent an Enterprise car and drive myself back to Birmingham, AL which was my final destination in all this. So this flight never happened.
In JFK, my luggage was lost and there was not ONE KLM or Northwest worker in the airport when I arrived to at LEAST give me a hotel voucher for the connection to Raleigh-Durham being missed. I end up sleeping on the JFK airport floor and also having to buy ANOTHER ticket through US Airways home to Birmingham, AL so I could hopefully get to my business meeting in New Mexico on Monday night.
Monday, Sept 17, 2007 US Airways # 2629 New York to Charlotte *Everything went ok
Monday, Sept 17, 2007 US Airways # 2287 Charlotte to Birmingham *Everything went ok HOWEVER I missed my Southwest flight # 101 to Albuquerque, New Mexico and also had to take a cancellation loss from that ticket From: Message Author (click here to email author) Date: Thursday, 20-Sep-07 11:04:02 CDT Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
