Proxus Media Group Rips customers off

I purchased a video player component for my website back in Sept of 2006. It was called the FLV PLAYER COMPONENT by Proxus Media. The website www.flvplayer.com sells the component in 2 packages. 1. $25 FLV PLAYER 2. $50 FLV PLAYER & LISTER

Almost immediately after downloading and installing it on my site, I noticed it was not functioning as advertised. I emailed the company (Proxus Media Group) a half dozen times and never got a response. I paid $50 for something that didn't work as advertised.

After searching around for help, I found nearly 10 postings on different forums and websites complaining about how others had paid money and received a non functional component that didn't work well. Many people complained of not being able get a response from Proxus Media.

Almost a year later, I have been trying to get a response back from Proxus Media with no reply. I have tried emailing from a Yahoo Account, Hotmail, Gmail you name it... they don't respond.

They claim to offer FREE Updates on their website, but offer you No Way of obtaining one.

No one answers the phone at www.Proxus.com and when you send an email in through their contact form, no one responds there either.

They have removed the contact buttons from the www.flvplayer.com .

They have no problem taking someones money. Who knows how many people are being scammed, most people are willing to risk $25 to $50 and I think this company knows they are selling a problematic component. Why else would they have removed any form of contact from their site and shut down their help forums?

They should take that website off-line!

True....customer support is minimal, but I need to say that when I purchased my set from them, majority of my issues was related to the fact that I don't know Flash too well (I'm not a designer). Once I educated myself a little bit more about flash components, I managed to use this player without major problems.

I have the same problem as you have the player works but the lister dosent i have tryed everthing with no luck
