HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DIDNT EVEN GET PRODUCT IN THE END

Ping Pong Balls pingpongballs.net THIS WAS A WEBSITE WITHOUT ANY PHYSICAL ADDRESS US www.pingpongballs.net I would just like to say that the customer service is horrible. I ordered from them back on August 1st, when I had not received my order by August 13th I contacted them via phone and was told that it was because my billing (for my American Express Card) was different from where I wanted my ping pong balls to be shipped so that put the order on hold. I rectified the problem and then was told that the ping pong balls would be shipped out that day. When I hadn't revived my order by August 24th I started to call and e-mail them again. I never got a call back and it took me calling everyday (at least 5 times a day) until September 3rd to get a hold of someone. They then told me that the reason why I had not gotten my order was because the company does not accept American Express. I asked why I had not be notified of this they said that it must have been over looked. So I then gave them a visa card. I was told that I should receive my order by no later than the next Wednesday the 12th. So when I didn't receive the package I called the office yet again. But of course getting no answer and no call back. I was finally able to reach someone on the 17th regarding my order and was told again that they canceled the order because the billing and the shipping address were different. So I told them that the I had already explained this back on August 13th that this is a business and that we did not want the package shipped to the billing address because they were needed at a different location. Then the man on the other end said that they would not be able to accept my order and he just hung up on me. I do not understand how a company can treat customers in such a horrible manner and expect to stay in business. I should have been called or e-mailed on every instance of an issue with my order but never was. I had to take the initiative to fix the problem. I don't understand how they can treat your customers with such disrespect and hang up on them as if it is their problem.
A Disgruntled Customer From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Wednesday, 19-Sep-07 16:27:00 CDT Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This Comment On Thispingpongballs.compingpongballs.com Well I would just like to say that I work for a business and both cards had the business name on them as well as one with the Director of Operations name (the Male) and the Corp. Secretary's name (the female). I did indeed give them the billing address but informed them that the product was not to be shipped there. The first card I used was the female's card and it was an AMX and they said that they do not accept AMX, that is the only reason I gave them the other card (a VISA) from the male. I did not request any type of express delivery they offered it to me because I had to wait so long after I made the order. They never ever told me to call my company CC Company. So this posting from them just shows again that they don't know what they are talking about at all. And yes I did make all of those calls and I can forward the one e-mail I have from them for my order Confirmation. I don't like the fact that they are insinuating that the cards are stolen or that I am or my company are thieves. Just shows how well they are with the customers they have. Customer was asked to call her credit card company and list the ship to address as an authorized ship to address. Customer did not want to do this but rather provide another credit card with another persons name on it. If a customer is using a credit card and can not provide the correct card verification number that can only mean they are not in possession of the credit card. Stolen credit card holders ALWAYS want the goods shipped to any address other than the credit card billing address. Persons who have stolen card number can not call the bank and list another ship to address as they will require personal information. This "customer" wanted to ship the goods to an address that did not match the billing address and wanted them sent express, the express shipping costs were MORE than the product total. She could not provide the security codes on any of the credit card numbers she tried to use, she was trying to use two different credit cards both with different names on each and most important she would not or have the cardholder call the credit card company. Her posting our "bad customer service" is without merit. Her claims are false we are open from 10am to 8pm EST her claim that she called us 5 times a day everyday from 08/24/07 to 09/03/07 is an outrageous lie. She was emailed the day the order was placed. We were in contact with her the following day from the date she ordered. She was advised that her order would not be processed without correct credit card information the next day from the date of her order and that was the end of her communication with us. Her filing of this complaint is retaliation for us not accepting credit card numbers she had. This person wanted to use two different credit cards both in different names one of which was a male. She wanted the order sent Next Day Air. She could not provide the security code for either card, one card she could not provide the correct billing address. Who does not know what address their credit card company sends their monthly bill to? She would not make a simply phone call to her credit card company to get this information. She may claim that we provided poor customer service, we believe the true cardholders of the credit card numbers she had would think differently From: Message Author (click here to email author) Date: Tuesday, 02-Oct-07 11:13:28 CDT Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
