Dish Network Had Dish Network for several years and finally wanted to add a second unit to the bedroom. Tried for months to get a second unit at no charge, after all, I had been a good customer for a long time and they are giving away up to four receivers for new subscribers. Went all the way to corporate headquarters customer service to no avail. Basically told too bad, you want it, you gotta pay. Threatened to switch to Direct TV to get it, didn't care. So I did, got my units with an upgrade to TIVO and have been very happy since with Direct TV. What they lost cost them many times over, doesn't sound like good business practice. Now I getl "Come back to us" notices with enticements...they can shove it.
