Booked tickets for my wife, 11 yr old son and self, Fort Lauderdale to Cancun via Spirit > Airlines 271 on June 21, returning flight 372, June 26. Have a printout of the trip details and > e-mail confirmation from Travelocity. No problem outbound. Upon check-in for return airline said > they had no reservation for my son, and no record of him having a ticket. Presented documentation, > including print-out of travelocity Trip Details showing you charged $322.74 for each person and boarding passes fo outbound trip. Spirit Airlines insisted my son didnt have reservation or ticket to return to the US, that I owed them for his trip to Cancun. After over an hour of arguing, my Amex> card was declined, because I already had a ticket for that flight. Efforts to call Travelocity failed. I spoke with Brian @ Travelocity on arrival in the US.He told me to file the details with the Consumer Relations Department. My confidence in Travelocity is shaken. I expect settlent in a timely and amicable fashion.
