Dell Computers

Hi.

I purchased a computer from Dell Computers on the 10th of August. Dell

confirmed the order and accepted my money.

I was of the understanding that Dell did not accept an order, let alone take

payment, unless they had first checked to confirm the components required

were available and the order could be completed.

I was advised delivery would be within 2 weeks.

According to the Dell Website my computer was built and shipped on the 12th

of August.

I am yet to receive my computer!!

I have queried Dell numerous times and each time have been assured someone

would call me back. A return call has been received only once.

Dell can still not advise when I will receive my computer. The latest I have

been told is that the computer is at the Mornington, Victoria facility but

that it is missing the monitor. I have been told that if it is not delivered

by tomorrow they will be able to tell me when it will be delivered.

For some reason I find it difficult to believe anything they are telling me.

Any assistance you could offer would be greatly appreciated. My order
