A & E Factory Service - Round Rock, Tx COMPLAINT Round Rock, Te I had a repair appointment scheduled for over a week by Jenn-Air/Maytag for the date of Sept 11, 2007 with A & E Factory Service out of Round Rock Texas. After rescheduling the entire day to be there when they arrived, I received a phone call at 9:30 am the date of the appointment informing me that the technician was overbooked and would not be able to come. I protested and was assured that a "supervisor" would call me right away to reschedule. No call. I called back and was put on hold while a "scheduling supervisor" could be found. She came on the phone and very curtly told me "I'm sorry, but there's nothing I can do". Basically, you're out of luck...so sorry you missed a day of work. I asked what's the chance of missing another day's work while waiting for a service tech too lazy to call the night before to say he's too overscheduled to come? She said that she could ask the tech to call 30 minutes before having to cancel! I asked this "scheduling supervisor" if her boss would be very understanding when she called to miss work TWICE OR MORE thirty minutes before a deadline or important meeting because of a lazy service tech and extremely poor scheduling skills on the part of an incompetent "scheduling supervisor". She says, Sorry...if you're so upset with us, call Jenn-Air and find someone else. I called Jenn-Air...they were appalled at the poor treatment their customers receive from this A & E "Phantom" Service, and said that she would also be filing a complaint against this so-called "service" company. So, if you ever need this company for any repair....as they told me...tough luck. Same problems. Guarantee they will call you before they come out. Show up without calling then tell you they can't guarantee the tech will call you. Then, ask you to reschedule at their convenience. I have had them service before...technically they are good, but their customer service is about as bad as it gets.
