Home Depot Employee Treatment

Home Depot Employee Treatment My husband works for Home Depot. He has a certain amount of health time = accrued monthly. If he is ill however, and uses the health time, he gets = a certain of amount points against him. After those points reach a = certain amount he is supposed to get a warning. After that, if he = accrues more points against him, he can be fired. This is not very well = communicated to the employee. Also, Home Depot does not allow over time. If you have a customer at the = end of your shift, you are supposed to stop in the middle of your sale = and get a manager to sign off on your "over time" and then you have to = make up the time by leaving early or coming in late one day during that = week. My husband's boss told him to come in late on an occasion such as = this and she said "you don't even have to tell me." My husband was given = points against him for his bosses mistake! Now he took his vacation time, after a year. It was one week. It was = approved by the proper channels. However, he was not paid as he was = supposed to be because no one told him he had to, apparently put in for = the time himself. He should've known, I'm sure he will hear. The fact remains that we now have to use money from an IRA account which = he has, to pay the bills for that week and to pay for an overdrawn = account! We don't have much money in that account and have to pay 35% in = taxes for withdrawing the money to the Federal Gov't! What kind of a Fucking Stupid system is that! I'm thinking of getting a lawyer to take care of this crap, because = that's what it is, just CRAP! I'm sorry for the bad language but it = needs to come out some way! Home Depot Employee's don't get commission on anything they sell or even = a percentage discount on anything they may buy from Home Depot.
