Bluegreen Resorts Boca Raton, Fl 33431 US My parents owned a membership with Bluegreen Resorts. When they passed away we tried to get information about the membership regarding exactly what they owned and what needed to be done to sell it or transfer the membership. The only thing they wanted to do was tell us how much we owed for fees,dues, etc. No explanation was ever given for the fees and they would not talk to us until they were paid. We paid, not knowing for what, and then they still never answerded the questions regarding what my parents actually owned, all they wanted was more money to transfer the membership. The rest of the story is a he said she said, which Bluegreen documented all of the conversations we had and accused me of not responding in a timely manner. What they don't document is the number of messages I left and they never returned the calls which lead to the long periods of time between conversations. At this point we decided to quit sending them money and maybe they would talk. I was right, once it went to a collection agency and I sent them the same documents that I had sent Bluegreen 2 years earlier they wanted to get the money and discuss transfering the membership but still would not tell us what we were paying for, points, a week somewhere or what. In the end Tish Lehr of Bluegreen told us we should just let it foreclose because it was very expensive to transfer. As far as I am concerned they showed no compassion and made no effort at all to help us in this matter. All we wanted was to know what my parents actually owned so we could decide what to do with it and we never got the answer.
