Family Pawn

Family Pawn I had bought two rifles in a package deal from Family Pawn in Sedalia, Missouri. One is disfunctional and cannot be repaired reasonably. Upon returning the rifles, I was told by the manager that I would only receive a 'store credit' only, no cash return, with receipt, for the rifles. I was not informed of this during the purchase. It may of been in fine print somewhere. I was told that if they did not operate properly, "the manager would be good about making it right with you". I did not have the receipt with me at the time of the attempted return but had my Discover Card transaction with the 'business' purchase. I was told by the manager that this was a corporate policy on returns. Also, they would not produce a copy of the receipt or transaction, that they kept no copies of this gun transaction, that it was the buyers responsibility for proof of purchase. Mark 10/06/07

I just stumbled upon your post trying to find a corporate number or something because I honestly feel this establishment is operating outside of guidelines. According to Family Pawns I have visited in other cities and states. Below is a link to my complaint you should voice your issue on that site aswell! http://www.merchantcircle.com/business/Family.Pawn.Store.660-827-7227 From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Tuesday, 29-Jul-08 23:52:58 CDT Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
