Name of product or service Hi, I am seeking some advice as to what to do. I bought a phone for 270 eur with a years guarantee that if it breaks it will be fixed. I purchased the phone is October last year. March/April I began to have problems with the phone so I eventually brought the phone in they repaired the phone. The same thing happened again 4 times so they repaired it 4 times and also informed me after the 4th time I would be entitled to a replacement. The 5th time I brought the phone in which is over a month ago now they decide to fix the phone instead of a replacement also telling me that it was out of warranty so I must pay 60 eur which it was not. I didnt agree so they sent it back for a 2nd opinion now telling me they are sending it back, the reason being the phone is now physically damaged and not out of warrantly. I have been in the shop numerous times asking about the phone never getting a good response as to what is happening. I have been getting told different stories. By law am I not entitled to a new phone considering the phone was 270 eur, it was fixed 4 times and as I was informed by the sales person that after the 4th repair you are entitled to a replacement. A phone that costs 270 eur should be durable to last longer than 5 mths. How could I have physically damaged the phone, plus they are only deciding it is physically damaged now when I have to get a replacement. How am I to know the phone wasn't pysically damaged ( if it was even physically damaged) in the shop. Once I think I can remember receving the phone with packaging after being repaired after that it was jus handed to me without any packaging. I went in last night an was informed that the phone is stil with the Technician. I have had nothing but hassle with the shop considering I work in an office 9-5.30 and it is hard to try get off to make the shop before it closes to know what is happening as I never get calls to keep me updated. I think I have been treated unfairly at this stage. I look forward to hearing your advice The store is 3G store on Henry Street. Kind Regards, Janice May.
