AT&T Stinky Customer Service I have been trying to retrieve an overpayment of $181.73 from AT&T for 4 mo= nths (since 6/22/2007). The payment was made as result of BellSouth and AT= &T merging-- when I paid the wrong account while paying bills on-line throu= gh my bank. I caught the error and have been attempting to get a refund si= nce June 2007. I have talked to over 22 representatives at AT&T, I would l= ove to list the names, but understand that this would be inappropriate. Fi= nally, a very kind representative asked me to fax the Global AT&T Imaging, = Credit Management team in Arizona. I did this with the proof of payment an= d that the check cleared. Still nothing. I called AT&T again, they state = they never received the fax and asked me to complete a refund form; furtherstating this would take 22-30 days! HELP!!! This is crazy that I cannot get $181.73 returned from a multi-million dolla= r company!! I am at a loss!! ________________________________ This electronic message transmission contains information that may be confi= dential or privileged.
