I purchased (12) Solar Sun Rings, on-line, from Pools Inc., (which cost me over $300). After receiving the products and putting them in use in my swimming pool, I quickly discovered that they don't work as advertised. 1) The solar rings do not lay flat on the water, so whenever there is even a slight wind they are all blown into a heaping pile at one end of my pool. 2) They do not heat my pool as advertised. Even though our daily air temperature has been around 90 - 95 degrees, my pool water is only 69 - 74 degrees, which is what it would be without using expensive Solar Sun Rings. I've contacted Pools Inc several times, (most without any response), and was finally referred to the manufacturer. After informing Pools Inc that I have pursued recourse through the manufacturer, (also, without satisfaction), I told them I wanted to return the Solar Sun Rings for a full refund. I was informed that their return policy does not cover any item that has been in the water. How in the world could I have found out I had purchased a defective product without actually using it??? This policy is rediculous!!! I would recommend anyone who is looking to purchase pool supplies, only deal with someone local, or an on-line company that will stand behind their products. Pools Inc. does not stand behind their products, and their customer service is virtually non-existent!!!

We have sold thousands of these sun rings without any issues at all. After speaking to the manufacture, the only reason they say that these would blow to one side of the pool is due to over inflation. Over inflation would also cause these to not properly heat the pool since they would not lay on the pool properly. These rings do come with instructions on how to inflate them as well as how to use them properly. The only possible defect that these solar rings would have is if they do not inflate which we would send out replacement units. Both the manufacture and our company are not able to take back these rings due to a sanitary issue since these have to be blown up by mouth. We first heard of there being a problem with these rings over thirty days of these being purchased. To ruin our reputation on a product that many of our customers have enjoyed due to improper use is extremely excessive. I can not see how a customers misuse of a product can be considered poor customer service on our end.
