Riddix order ------=_NextPart_001_00AC_01C81B06.36970600 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable After viewing your television commercial I eagerly went to my computer = and found your web-site:http://www.riddexplus.com. Just like your commercial I found = the "buy one get one free" offer ($29.95) plus a separate charge of = $8.95 for s & h. I placed my order, went through all the other = promotional offers I was not interested in and finally reached the page = confirming my order of 29.95 plus 17.90 for a grant total of ($47.85). I = am not sure this is the correct total as I went back trying to find an = actual "check out" page so that I could edit my order and then could not find the page to print. These check out pages are normally used in all = internet transactions listing your items, pricing and any shipping = charges that might apply BEFORE checkout. Nowhere in my purchase was it = clear that I would have to pay $8.95 per item...($17.90) is a ridiculous = amount of freight for such a small item unless your company is out of = the country...I wouldn't know that because there is no info about your = company, where it is located or any contacts except for one lonely phone = number. I really don't know how to check on my existing order as I see = no link for that as well. I think your web-site is deceiving to = consumers. Your company should be up front with the public about all = freight charges and include a page for changes. You should also include = an "about us" or contact page so that we may know more about your = location and what to do in case of a problem. I thought I was saving a = little bit of money...at a cost of about $24.00 a unit I certainly don't = feel like I got a great deal....these units are sold by other companies = at $19.95 plus s & h...it comes out to about the same. I will try to = warn my friends and neighbors...We consumers just want honesty....then = we'll decide if it's worth our money. (Thank you to customer sevice = for passing this on to management) Leesa Godfrey 2923 31st. Ave. Ct. This company is a complete scam. I just filed a complaint online with the FTC. Please do the same. I hope there is a class action lawsuit soon. I was going on vacation and when I got back was checking my bank account online. I was billed twice!!!! I've since called the company 6 times to no avail. I later recived the second buy one get one that I didn't order. I can't get a straight answer as to how to go about getting my money back. I asked to speak to a supervisor. She was rude and unhelpful. She called me a liar saying that I placed two orders. I asked for her supervisor. She ignored my request. I ask for the corporate office # 1-866-813-4927. After 35 mins on hold I gave up. Please let me know if any of you has had better luck. sincerely, Scamed in New Mexico. The products generally never work as advirtised and the S & H are ridiculous. Once they have your card number, you might as well concede that you were taken. I don't understand why these scam artists are allowed air time when their products are proven to be junk. There was no place in their website to edit or make changes with your order. I kept on calling their customer service for 6 days straight asking to cancel my order on the internet and all they said was they could not see my order in their database and most likely did not go through because it usually takes 48 hours for them to see the order in their database. So I ordered the unit via phone with a customer rep. Guess what, the order went through and I was charged two times. I've been calling their customer service for 3 months already asking where my refund is when I returned the unit originally ordered on the internet 3 months ago. Their customer service people say what you want to hear but no ACTIONS. I was simply playing around with the total number of units I needed trying to get a price range. The S&H was ridiculous!!! What a sticker shock I received. Like you said, the biggest shocker was the fact that there was no "View Shopping Cart" option. The next thing I saw was a "Confirmation Page" with a submitted order totaling $110! I was even suckered into a two year warranty on EACH one while I was experimenting with the imaginary shopping cart.
