2000 Nissan Maxima, faulty ignition coils

There is a petition through google regarding the need for a recall of 2000-2003 Nissans due to faulty ignition coils, o2 sensors, and other related parts. Some how this company needs to take responsibility for these defects and stop gouging the consumers.

I feel the same way. I bought my 2000 maxima about 5 months ago. Three days after I bought it all primary ignition coils went out. The warranty had just expired and I contacted the dealership about it and they said they told us to take it to a Nissan dealer, which wasn't the case because before I bought it I had them do a full inspection on it and they said it was fine when we signed the papers. Figures.
