SMC Rip off

The exact thing happen to me with SMC as Cathy from TN. #Complaint #: 2988. Paid $114.00 for my trial kit with the guarantee that I would get a refund if not satisfied and return kit in 30 days. Followed the recorded return information, (cuz you never can get a real person), to the letter. Sent my kit unopened back as directed to one location insured for $100.00, long before the 30 day period. Got a return excepted package signature. Sent in my request to cancel with all the right information to another location. Then SMC charged me $29.00 for the scheduled payment from my credit card. They did this twice within a month. I canceled and changed my credit card numbers and got different card. This company is a real rip off. Do not- I repeat DO NOT give them your credit card number. DO NOT join this on line store or you will be very very sorry and very much in debt. Be Ware of this group and any promises they make. Erick- , AZ

These people are exactly what you say they are....THIEVES. I'm so angry over this deal. They charged me $59.95 after my initial $2.95, and I asked for a refund...They said it was too late. Bastards. Iasked the girl how she sleeps at night, and she stated that she 'reads the terms and conditions when she signs up for things online'. I'd love to charge her good money for nothing in return and see if she likes it.

I signed up for a FREE information kit from SMC and paid what I thought was a shipping fee for the kit. Later, I discovered two charges on my bank statement, one for $9.95 membership fee for which I did not sign up for and a $59.95 merchandise charge which I have never received. When I called to cancel the membership I never signed up for, I was told that because it had been 8 days since I signed up, which I didn't, then I can not get a refund of my approximately $70.00. The lady was very rude and said, I'm sorry it's been 8 days and the rules say you have seven to cancel. Cancel what I never signed up for. She even had to tell me what my member number was because I never even received an email. These people are cold, calculating thieves. Stay away from this company. I've had my bank block any further charges from them.

I received a package from SMC in the mail today and am weary. Everything I hear confirms that they are the type of company you say they are. The thing about them and these other get-rich-quick companies and their infomercials is that their whole pitch is aimed to deceive. For example, for SMC they always show the "atypical" distributor who made hundreds of thousands of dollars. Fair enough, but why not show the results the typical distributor has if you aren't trying to deceive people into thinking they will be instant millionaires? I'm pitching my kit they sent me in the mail.

I was also scamed by smc They promised me all this help that I never got. Their 'Job coaches' are really Trained Sales people that try to talk you into spending more money sometimes in the upwards of $5,000 to help you get your business Started. My very first shipment of my Kit included broken, damaged and defective merchandise. Even the replacement items would come in damaged or defective. The items were not of the quality that I would sell to a customer. I boxed up the kit to return it to SMC took it to a Local UPS office and went to send it back and it was going to cost me almost 100.00. I refused to pay the UPS store, bringing it back home and preceded to call the company. They Refused to send a ship back tag and made me believe that if I did not return the merchandise at my cost, that they would not refund my 499.95 for my membership. I tried to do the business just to re-coup my 499.95 investment. I drove miles and miles and put hours and hours in this business. and could not move the merchandise. (I have previous sales Experience so I know how to be a saleswoman) The Job Coach that they promised me turned out to be a HIGH pressured Sales person that wanted me to invest $5,000 more into my business and then became very rude when I refused. I turned it in to my Credit Card Company and my Credit card company reimbursed my money to my account because they felt that I had been scammed my this company and had true reason to get my money back. Now SMC is threatening to turn this account into collections. I am in this to the end. The bad thing is that I have Excellent credit and this company is probably going to ruin it, but I am NOT GIVING UP! When I know I have a legitimate complaint I will not back down. The best thing that ever happened to me is I am now in an new Independent business that is giving me great Success and happiness. If any of you readers want to know about my company that is perfectly Legit and treats its Business owners like real People contact me and I will tell you all about it. In the meantime.......STAY AWAY FROM SMC.
