TRAVEL SERVICE RIP OFF

We purchased this travel service which promised substantial savings on travel related services such as air fare, car rental, golf, condo rental, and cruises. When checking the rates, we found the savings do not exist, and are often more expensive than those available to the general public.

We paid $4443 plus a $140 yearly membership fee.

A total rip off.

So far unable to get our money back.

My husband and I also fell into their trap. They are very good in presenting their vacation package. The problem is you have to wait at least 10 days before you can go online to check out the great deals they have presented. Conveniently for them they have a 3 day cancellation clause in the contract. During the presentation we were told that they are one of 6 wholesale companies in the world and that we, upon joining the program, would be able to buy hotel, cruises, car rentals, etc at the wholesale price. We would then have $3000 in "rewards" that could further reduce our purchases.

Once you can access the web-site it is to late. You realize that there is no "wholesale price". You might save a few dollars once the "rewards" are applied compared to the what you can find on the hotels, cruises, etc. website. Of course if you use something like Priceline you will most certainly get the best deal.

Once we realized we had been duped we made calls to them questioning the validity of the program. We then sent a registered letter demanding a refund. We also disputed the charge with our credit card company. So far to no avail. We have now filled a complaint with the Florida Attorney General. I will report them to anyone who will listen. We may never get our money back, but hopefully other people will not fall for the same scam. Trust me these people are very good. We have attended several presentation like this and have NEVER bought into the program until this one.

One other thing...The company now goes by the name of Florida Beach Destinations. The only way we figured out it is Florida Sport and Recreation is that the charge came through our credit card as Florida Sport and Recreation.

i just brought a trial period with them for 18 months how can i get out how this contract which i put down 500.00 and 198 with world wide timeshares to help sell two of my timeshares

We experienced similar results with the membership we purchased in March, 2008. When asking for a refund, we were told that is not possible. Yet, they do not fulfill any of their promises.

about Flordia sports and recreation I have owned this package of 6000.00 for a total of 19 days these people are a rip off no soooner had we gotten in the members area we found all that they said was a hyped up nothing we are sick over this We cant get anyone with that business to even talk to us We have contacted the Agriculture and consumers service in Fla and also filed a complaint with our credit card company and with the central Florida bbb oh please file all the reports you can to get your money back these people give you no respect as a consumer and less as being a human so please contact them never stop trying this people need to be stopped legally and only its victims can stop it
