Saveonmyalarm.com is a HORRIBLE, DECEPTIVE company with NUMBEROUS UNRESOLVED COMPLAINTS WITH THE BBB!!!!! They try to lure you in with their low price and advertise on their website: "No CONTRACTS" AND "CANCEL ANYTIME" and when you try to call and cancel you are then told they can't cancel it for another 60 days!! When I told the manager: Ben Price that no where when I enrolled for service was there anything on the agreement that required 60 days notification for cancellation, he became rude and did not want to continue with our conversation and said he had other customers he needed to get to & HUNG UP ON ME! Before he hung up, he said I NEEDED TO SEND A CERTIFIED LETTER for cancellation--but did not even give me the address or information regarding who I needed to send the certified letter to.

We have had problems with the system for several months now and have had to continue to make payments. When we had a problem with the system and after numerous calls to their technical support, they still couldn't fix the problem. They said they would send a new system to us without charge, but no system arrived.

Then, when I tried to call several times to cancel the service, you have to call 2 separate numbers to get a cancellation code. For the second cancellation code, you speak with the manager: Ben Price and he tries everything possible to talk you out of canceling. When I told him we no longer want the service, he tries to lower the price. Again, I told him we no longer want the service. He then tells me the service will be cancelled in 60 days! We had enrolled in the service about 1.5 years and since then, they have added all sorts of forms, contracts and policies on their website that weren't there when we originally requested their service. THEY STILL CONTINUE TO ADVERTISE "NO CONTRACTS" AND "CANCEL ANYTIME" on their website. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE COMPANY! VERY DECEPTIVE IN THEIR PRACTICES, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN!!!!!!!! FOR THOSE OF YOU WANTING TO SAVE MONEY LIKE I DID, SAVE YOUR MONEY, IT ISN'T WORTH THE TIME OR HASSLES. I WISH I HAD CONTACTED THE BBB BEFORE CONSIDERING SERVICE.

ALSO: NEVER HAVE THEM DEDUCT AUTOMATIC MONTHLY PAYMENTS FROM YOUR CC! At the beginning, when we had them deduct it from our CC, statements would be sent to our email address for the first couple of months, and then nothing! Then when I notice a different charge on my cc statement recently and called their accounting dept. said that they sent them. When asked about the recent increase on our credit card, Jackie who handles the accounting in their Seattle office said all customers have known about the increase since 6/07! I asked her why wasn't I notified? She said you must have deleted the email as a spam. I DON'T THINK SO!!!

saveonmyalarm.com has fraudulent billing practices.

The company advertises $5.95 a month service.

On the web site when i registered it said $5.95.

Without informing me they just started charging my credit card for $26

When i canceled the service instead of refunding me for the excess amount charged.

They kept sending me invoice for 3 year contract termination fee @ 26 dollars some hundreds of dollars.

They just made up this contact story.

here is another other site which speaks about their fradulent practice.

http://www.alarmsystemreviews.com/unbiased-saveonmyalarm-customer-reviews.html

Their bbb account is inactive with D-ve rating

i would keep posting more urls as i find them.

i am going to file a written complaint with attorney general and ftc about their fradulent billing practice.

This was my account number with them : E7003196

Anyone can contact me for more information

Definitely a shameless scammer! I signed up for $5.99 monitoring service, but later was told that was a two-year contract! Totally rip-off! Unbelievably unethical and rude people! There are SO many disgruntled customers online. Just google! Shame on you!

I am also a customer scammed into one of your other internet alarm false advertising scheme.

If you have not been keeping up with the Internet, domains/webpages/registrar changes are track by WHOIS databases and archived for many years. Your 50 domains are public information that anyone can retrieve and do not need any inside job.

I had nothing but trouble with no monitoring services from your company, impossible to cancel, and your staffs are threatening!

Bad business practice is why so many people complaint and it will eventually catch up.

After a little research, the complaint above was discovered to be a hoax, filed by a competetor. Cencom Inc, the parent company DOES have in excess of 50 domain names that it has used for its partners and security related services. However, ONLY a competetior with INSIDE information could discover the list of names that were published here. There is no way you can simply "FIND" them by searching the internet. Many of the names are not even active and point only to a registry service.

In this business, since 95% of our competetors CANNOT compete with our $5.95 intruductory monitoring rate, they attampt to sway internet buyes by attacking our reputation.

You can search the internet and will only find a few complaints. AND a few of these are the same people filing the same complaints over several sites. OF COURSE with over 150,000 subscribers, this is common.

To set the record straight, we offer a 100% no questions asked refund if cancelled within 72 hours OR a refund if the alarm conversion cannot be done due to our inability regardles of time frame, P-E-R-I-O-D.

Our service fees average 80% LESS than our competition and we hold the highest alarm conversion rate in the industry with over 10,000 systems a year. We have been in business since 1968 and monitor in excess of 150,000 Customer accounts Nationwide. including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Canada. With the number of accounts we provide alarm services to every second of every minuite of every hour of every day 365 days a year, we are bound to have ocassional unsatisfied customers or an ocassional BBB complaint. But for over 99.99% of our Customers, they are satisfied, safe and saving!

As a LIFE SAFETY SERVICE, our agreement CLEARLY states that any emergency alarm monitoring cancellation must be done IN WRITING and 60 days prior to the intended date of cancellation in order for us to CONFIRM and VALIDATE the cancellation was ordered by a AUTHORIZED person. This is to PREVENT Ex-spouses, or ex-employees or anyone else from simply cancelling YOUR personal or business security with the intent to do you harm the next day. And isn't what a security company is SUPPOSED to do? Would you feel secure if we didn't do it that way?

As for the system not working for the Customer, they failed to mention that we did not provide the alarm system that failed. We only provide monitoring of THEIR alarm system. BUT we did offer a FREE alarm replacement panel, even though it was not ours in the first place. We only required a shipping fee to cover the cost of sending the unit and they even REFUSED to pay for shipping!

It has also come to our attention that the BBB failed to update our email address to have us respond to complaints in the last several months causing a false NO RESPONSE issue. They have been alerted of the issue and any previously unanswered complaints have been resolved.

I have never face a business out to scam you from day one.

They will accept your payment on the spot by returning your call shortly. Their tech support can only call you back later – likely after 72 hours, which will then be past the 72 hours beyond their cancellation policy. Worst of all, they are not able to monitor your alarm and therefore no service is provided. They will suggest to ship you their in-house alarm system. When you try to cancel, they become rude and they tell you can only cancel after 60 days. So without service provided, no cancellation, you have been scammed into another internet scheme

The list of tricks goes on, as they ask that you mail a cancellation form with “certified proof of delivery” or they will continue to bill you with the credit card number you have provided. You will also discover that the cancellation form asks for a social security for “security reasons”, so they can later threaten you with collections and credit reports for a service you may have not received.

There are many complaints about saveonmyalarm.com aka American Digital can be found at http://search.bbb.org/Results.aspx?ph=800-365-2527

All their company contacts and details have been updated at BBB and you will notice American Digital out of WA are related to over 50 domain names. Such as policealarm.com Ulcenter.com americandigitalmonitoring.com GoToMyAlarm.com AlarmPartner.com halfpricealarm.com AlarmMonitoringServices.com GoToMyAlarm.com

I recommend that users complaint to BBB to help remove such unethical businesses. Don’t even consider this company and if you still want to run than risk, then I suggest you use an American Express card, so you will be more protected, and never provide your social security number.
