In June of 2006 I had wanted to purchase 6 solar panels from Quality Solar Concepts but could only afford to put 4 solar panels on my credit card at the time of ordering. Kirk Golden, the President of Quality Solar Concepts, did write to me by email to let me know that the Sharp ND-208U1 solar panels that I wanted to order were on back order from Sharp and that the panels would not be in until Nov. 6, 2006. I was willing to wait until Nov. 6, 2006 for the sharp solar panels and made the order for 4 panels. At that time my credit card was credited for $3485.18 for all 4 solar panels. I was then contacted by Kirk a short time after telling me that 1 Sharp solar panel was being shipped. I did receive this one solar panel. After Nov. 2006, there was no indication that the other 3 panels were being shipped to me. I emailed Kirk at this time to find out what the issue was with the un-sent Sharp solar panels. I was informed at this time that the panels were not in stock yet from Sharp and the due date for receiving the panels was pushed out to the first week in January of 2007. The solar panels did not show up in January 2007. On February 10, 2007, I went out to the Quality Solar Concepts web site and saw that the Sharp solar panels would not be in until June 1, 2007. This was a year after I first ordered the Sharp solar panels and I felt that this was unacceptable to keep waiting over one year for the panels. I then sent an email to Kirk asking for the balance of the money for the three remaining panels not shipped to me to be placed back onto my credit card: A total of $2613.85. After two requests emailed to Kirk and the company about this matter, Quality Solar Concepts Consumer Services sent an email dated Feb 14, 2007 telling me they had received my note about wanting a refund and that they would be processing my request.

It is now November 07, 2007, and the money has not been refunded and there has been no effort on Quality Solar Concepts part to contact me for an explanation. I have tried two separate times to reach them by email and have left three messages on Kirk's voice mail about this issue without any responce. I finally sent a Certified letter to Kirk at Quality Solar Concepts and it was received/signed for on September 28, 2007. In this letter I asked him to contact me and to either credit my credit card account or send me the three remaining panels. I have not heard from him or the company to this date. I do not believe he has made an honest effort to reslove this issue and I am now seeking other methods of help.

I started out with the New York state Better Business Bureau. I then want to my states Attorney General office, and it is now with the New York states Attorney General office. The issue is not resolved as of August 07, 2008.
