Sim2 C3xE Projector Millennium Camera aka Broadway Photo aka A&M Photo World 337 E 89th Brooklyn, NY 11236 US http://www.millenniumcamera.com We purchased a Sim 2 C3X-E projector back in October of 2007 from Millenium Camera, online. Once we received it and set it up we discovered an issue with its ability to scale aspect ratios. After testing several options, checking the website and forums - we believed it to be a bug, and brought it to Sim 2's attention. We did receive a prompt response from Robinson Novoa from the manufacturer the very next morning. We explained the problem in detail, sent a test clip for them to work with, and after running their tests - Sim 2 acknowledged this was a bug in our system, as well as all shipping C3XE models. We spoke to Sim 2 about this and they are willing to accept the projector back as a return. We also contacted a Sim 2 reseller in Florida, who sold the unit to Scott in NY, who then sold it to us, and he is willing to accept the projector back as a return. The sticking point, is Scott at Millennium Camera who refuses to send us the necessary paper work for us to send the projector back, even though the manufacturer and everyone else involved will be happy to undo this mess. Contacting Scott was tricky as he also does business as bway photo and is connected to a few other electronics businesses (see URL: http://donwiss.com/pictures/BrooklynStores/h0187.htm) When we explained the issue, Scott refused to believe there was a problem. We followed up with him, several times and left several messages. He never returned our calls. We are also waiting for several things from him - such as an RMA to return a ceiling mount which we never used, and an extended warranty I paid for, but never received. We have been patient to a fault to try many different workarounds and solutions - none of which are satisfactory for a device costing 15,200.00. We are just asking for a refund for a faulty item, overdue for a return.
