EBAY Is Lowering The Value Of The U.S. DOLLAR
|
Ebay Ebay/Paypal , CA US www.ebay.com Our political leaders need to take a very hard look at internet trade and the value of our dollar. With ebay allowing the individual users to buy product directly from CHINA at a VERY INFLATED VALUE our distributors and importers all the way down to the small retailer are being slowly but surely put out of business. Our dollar value is declining so rapidly because we are paying those DIRECT INFLATED PRICES to other countries without any import tax or inspection in most cases. This is dangerous for our economy. The internet is a valuable internet tool for information but as far as it's economical value it could be the end of cash flow inside the United States. There needs to be restrictions on internet trade OUTSIDE the United States. If things keep going the way they currently are we are all doomed to buy our products from other countries online. I will give you an example: I'm trying to find a tiny gear head motor 10 RPM on ebay. I find it of course at a price I consider TOO HIGH but I would buy it anyway because I need it. Now I see that the price is coming direct from China! Unbelieveable for something that actually cost them about 50 cent is now bringing them $30 when sold directly to a buyer from ebay plus they get another $12 to ship that tiny item in an envelope. Why would they export it cheap now when they can get so much on ebay! I won't do it! I will go without before I will put myself out of business or pass that inflated product onto any U.S. buyer. I would rather have that item imported for what it is worth and then buy it from a U.S. distributor. Time to put some restrictions on ebay and other global marketers and save peoples homes and social securities which are slowly but surely dwindling away. Each year ebay does 6 Billion in sales! Where is most of that money going? I believe in FREE TRADE but NOT FREE TRADE ON THE INTERNET. Don't let the internet ruin our society.
