Chase Home Finance Class-Action Lawsuit

Mortgage Loan

chasehomefinance.com

I have been a Customer of Chase Home Finance for 3 years now. They Purchased my loan from New Century Mortgage after my 1st year in my home. Every payment I have sent in has been mailed 2 weeks before they were due, and every one has been held 20+ days before they even attempt to deposit them. This has made every payment LATE, so they can charge more interest and more late fees. THIS IS NOT FAIR!! It's not my fault they can't process my payments on time. Today I received a FORECLOSURE LETTER!! And I also received my check dated 8-25-2007 for my September payment that they held until 10-22-2007. Are these people Crazy?? I have been given over 11 phone numbers to use to contact people that only have Voice-Mail, and NEVER return my calls. Not even the Foreclosure Department has returned my calls. I guess they need a write-off or something, maybe that's why they are determined to take this house back. Anyone with information on Chase Home Finance please contact me @ JonathanCopeland AT msn.com.

I am starting a Class-Action Lawsuit starting TODAY!! ANYONE interested in being added please send me an email and I will forward the information on how you can contact the Attorney whom has TAKEN THE CASE.

Damage Resulting

This has ruined my credit due to them not posting my payments as they should, and I have had to Stop-Payment on my last 2 house payments because they are still floating around somewhere. They say they have not been received. They want me to pay it over the phone, except now they want all past-due payments "That they have screwed up" plus another $1500 in attorney fees, plus another $1700 in more BS Charges.

We are fighting with Chase as we speak and they are trying to foreclose on us as well. We can't find a lawyer around here that will handle this and if you have any suggesting and maybe suggest a good lawyer to use. They refuse to send out papers and state they have sent them to us and they are trying to foreclose on us while refussing to send papers and get this straight. We have contacted the senator and he is trying to help us but nothing is working. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

13 November 2009

Please count us in. Mr. & Mrs. Gary Shine. I just went to my attorney yesterday (Nov 12th) to file a civil lawsuit. I was just surfing the net to see if there was any compliants about Chase business practices. WOW! My mouth was just open. I had to call my husband to come read the compliants.

Our story is so much like the others but we are current on the mortgage. Thanks to paying Chase $21,000 (2 attempt foreclosure) to save our home. In which Chase was at fault both times. I understand completely when you say that they will not answer their phones. Since they didn't want to talk to me anymore I got the VA Rep involved (we're military). They spoke with him only for a few phone calls and emails. The employees at Chase are not the brighest crayons in the box LOL. When the VA rep contacted the person that was helping me. He told the VA Rep tht he didn't put me on payment plan (even thought Chase was at fault). The VA Rep contacted me and told me what was said. I told him I guess he forgot that he FedEx the contract to me with all his information on it. The VA Rep asked me to fax a copy to him. So I faxed him a copy. He called me back a few days later and said he called and confronted the rep from Chase and ask him why he lied about the contract. He told him that he had a copy of the contract after that no more contact from him or his supervisor. Until this day the Chase rep will not speak to me or the VA Rep. That is okay because I have what I need to go after him & Chase. Our mortgage is always current until my husband deployed to Iraq three times. After Chase find our that he's deployed the next month the mortgage is messed up. When I called to find out what is going on and they tells me that my name is not on the mortgage and they can't discuss it with me. My name has been on this mortgage since we had the house built. Too make a long story short include me in the lawsuit. Please pass along the attorney information PLEASE. I WANT TO MAKE CHASE PAY FOR WHAT THEY DID TO US AND OUR CREDIT.

I went to three attorneys and each one of them said I have case against Chase but they decline to take the case. I guess they are afraid. Like one attorney told me that I have proof that they sent in an email stating that they are at fault with our loan. After I got that piece of evidence they no longer want to speak to me. When I find an attorney they will be speak then.

The attorney that I consulted with stating that we have Chase on several charges. We have an excellent case against them because we have our proof in black & white from them.

Too much to type about Chase.

Send any and all information to rshine2605 AT aol.com

PS: I'm glad I was surfing the net now. I'm sorry we all are in this situation but I'm happy to see we're are not ALONE!

Wow! I cannot believe all of these stories. At least we know that we are not the only people going through this. Here is our story.

As of March of this year, I have been off work and on disability due to an accident that I got into ten years ago that came back to haunt me. Due to this I am now permanently disabled which means I am now on a fixed income. As of April of this year, my fiancé was laid off from his job. Therefore, he is now on unemployment, which means we were/are definitely in need of some help. I pulled up the Chase website and saw the modification that they offer. I called them, filled out ALL of the necessary paperwork, and submitted everything and I also called to confirm receipt. In addition, when speaking to the modification department we were told that in order to qualify for the modification department you MUST be behind in payments, so they told us NOT to make our July 2009 payment and all after until the modification is complete. They stated that ALL unpaid payments would be included in the new loan. This was all done by July of this year. They said to give them 4 to 6 six weeks due to all of the people applying for the program. I called about every two weeks and spoke to the modification department AND the collections department. We received at a minimum 3 phone calls a day from the collection department. I would tell them exactly the same story. I would even ask for the manager to make sure the correct person was noting it. I would ALWAYS get the same story from the modification department. They told me to ignore the collection calls and not to worry. They would also say that our loan is still being processed and to NOT worry about being foreclosed on. Since we had applied for the modification there was NO way our house would foreclose do the modification was in process. Well, on September 28th of this year we received an Acceleration Warning (Notice of Intent to Foreclose) letter in the mail and a certified copy as well. My heart sank. I called the modification department immediately. I was transferred to two people then I finally got a hold of a gentlemen who told me to disregard the notice. He said the same story; we cannot be foreclosed on while we are in the process of a modification. I asked him for an update on our modification and he said our loan is now with the collections department so I need to check with them. I called and spoke to a gentlemen in the collections department. He said our loan is with the modification department and did not know why the other person stated that it was with them. UGH!!! I asked him to transfer me to back to the modification department. He said it was now closed. Therefore, I started to ask him some questions to see if he could help. He said that he does see that we applied for the modification back in July however; he does not see that our loan has been approved or that it is pending. He said that it looks to him that NOTHING has been done with our application so far. He did say that the modification department is behind and that as of October of this year we will be four months behind, which means they could start a foreclosure. He also stated that since the modification department is behind he has seen some people lose their homes. I was extremely upset after that phone call. I pulled up the Chase website again and started to search and see if there was anyone else I could contact or anything else I could do. I found on the website that they had a local office for the modification department. I immediately contacted them and told them my situation. The person that I spoke to told me that even though we have applied for the modification, we could still be foreclosed on. She said we needed to make an appointment immediately to see one of their representatives so we can try to get this done. She also stated that when she pulled up our loan she saw that NOTHING has been done and there are NO notes for all of the times I have called and spoke to someone. Unbelievable!!!! Therefore, we made an appointment with a representative. We had to bring all of the paperwork that we had submitted back in July plus all of our current information. When we met with the representative, he said the same thing as well, that nothing has been done with our application and there are no notes on file. He told us not to worry and that he will submit everything and try to get everything done as soon as possible. He told us that if we receive foreclosure notices to fax them to him and we will postpone it and let them know that we are in process of a modification. He said that he will keep us posted every step of the way. He too said that he has seen and heard of people losing their homes because of all of the errors of the modification. He said it is so messed up that he does not even know where to begin. Well on October 26th we received a letter in the mail and a certified copy as well from Northwest Trustee Services, Inc. stating that they have been retained to initiate foreclosure proceedings on us. I immediately contacted our representative and left him a message. I also emailed him and faxed him a copy of the notices. He left me a message stating that he could try to postpone the foreclosure and that he has still not received a conformation on our loan yet. I immediately called him back and of course got his voicemail again. I also emailed him stating that yes, please postpone the foreclosure and that I would like a copy of his request and a copy of the confirmation for my records. I also told him that I would like him to find out the status of our loan and when we should have this all done. Well that was on Friday, October 30th. As of today, November 2nd we have NOT gotten an answer from him. My fiancé had to leave him a voicemail stating that if we do not hear back from him we will have to contact an attorney because we are still in the same situation that we have been in since July.

This is ridiculous and we are so sick and tired of this. We want a resolution to this matter. There is no way that we can come up with this HUGE lump sum due to our fixed/limited income and we do not want to lose our home. In addition, our credit is currently all messed up due to late fees and negative reporting from Chase Home Mortgage. It is not fair that we have to suffer due to the incorrect information and lack of from Chase. So, please count us in on this Class Action Lawsuit and let us know the contact information to the attorney on this case.

I have been a Chase Home Finance Customer since they purchased my mortgage from Mellon Mortgage during the banking crisis in the early 90's they have been a nightmare of a company. Like the corporate monsters of the early 20's before the depression they are ruthless, unethical and resort to fabrications and harassment.

I send them checks and they do not cash them they have been torturing me for about 7 years. I am tired of it. I have spent about 6000 in attorney fees to fight them.

I have had problems with Chase sense thay took over WaMu. One is my escrow thay say I have a shotage I did my own countulation and it just don't add up. Another thing is I just found out I have to much equity in my home for the modivacation program. When I first bought my house in 2002 I put 20% down now do to medicial reasons I am on Disibility.I thought the make afordable plan was to help us stay in are homes but Chase wants me to go in to forecloser so thay can take my home and profit off it.I have never been late on my payments for as long as I have bought this house. But due to my Divorse and loss of income and escrow shortage I can't make my Housepayment any more.I was olways told if you talk to your Mortgage company thay would work with you. NOT CHASE.I have been through hell and back with them and am stressed out over this whole deal.

Wow I can't believe all these stories of how Chase is ripping people off. We have paid on our house for almost 10 years and WaMu was the paperholder. Chase bought the loan and I had lost a job. They were going to help us with a modification and it has now been 9 months and we are now told that we are denied due to our equity being to high on our house. We too have sent paperwork in like so many times I hate to look. They always seem to be missing the same thing we sent before. We have kept all out paperwork, phonecall logs, people we talked to, and dates in a file that has to be 3/4 of an inch by now. We are set to lose all out equity we have worked so hard for and they could give a crap. They are rude and uncaring and I believe they are trying to get all these to help offset thier losses from other bad deals they made.

I definatly want in on this class action lawsuit. I have a family and we are completly stressed and don't know what to do. Please email me the info about the lawsuit as we will join.

I almost expect a forclosure letter in the mail any day now from what I read.

I simply cannot believe there are such deviant people like this treating people like dogs.

Hi;Count me in! I got a loan from accredited and my payment was 647.00 per mo.Three mounts later my loan was transferred to chase.A few months later chase told me my new payment would be 662.47.Now, I was always getting a monthly statement telling me my this amount;and that my escrow was -0-.Now,I thought my escrow being -o- was a good thing. Now,I bought this lot in 2001 and have always paid my taxes and ins. myself when it was due.In june 08 i got a monthly satatement showing that i owed escrow 1300.00 and my automatic bank payment 662.47 was not enough to make my monthly payment and the escrow payment. So, this money was taken from my account and put somewhere in between me and escrow. Then the next month my escrow went to 2700.00. In the next two months my escrow went to 5700.00.Now,my payment of 662.47 is not going to get this done! I will pay my taxes and my ins. when it is due. This escrow has got to be illegal. glenn green glenn.of.green AT gmail.com 928 502-1430

Right now I have a surplus of 2889.00 which I received in a letter that I would get back ..they said the letter is false because I'm still paying for that escrow shortage..even if I paid the full amount of escrow shortage I would have a surplus!!! Spoke to a Supervisor by the name of Lisa..she couldn't even figure it out!! They have my money and I want it back!!!! I'm current on my payments by the way.

Ok this is what is going on with my hubby with chase. He was in Chapter 13 in 2005 he was doing great for four years. But one day in Sept 2008 his lawyer called and said Chase says two payments are missing but not back to back months. So we said we have the soft copies of the checks but dont have prove they got them. So I said what can we do to fix this the money is in the bank account. So Oct 6 2008 we did a conference call with Chase's lawyers in Philly with my hubbys Chapter 13 lawyer and they said "Yes you can fix this send us three months payments in a cashier check and everything will be fine. Guess what we got it in writing send them the money and they would not cash those cashier checks. Now after all this a year later they have tried to foreclose 4 times right now we have a stayed on our home, but chase is still playing games with us. The chapter 13 lawyer stop my hubbys 13 in March 2009. The reason is to try to remodfied his loan. But if chase does not help him back into 13 he will go and they woun't get the house. We tried to give them all the back mortage money and they would not even take that. Chase is playing games with lots of people. WE NEED TO TAKE A STAND AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT CHASE!!!!!!!!!!!! They are crooks in a suit

I would like to be added as well. I also have a mortgage that was purchased by chase from new century mortgage. My problem with them is that they lost my April 31st, 09 payment. They debited it from my account on may the 4th. It was 2,022.49. I have a confirmation number and all when I gave them the check by phone back on April 16th, 2009 I had to provide them bank statements for three months. They have opened and closed what they call an executive rout like five times. They have ruined my credit and I am getting no where. I don't know what else to do. Does anyone have any info that can help me. I want to sue the shit out of those c-ck s-ckers!

I wanted to know where is the status of a possible class acxtion law suit. I am interested in participating as well. I been going back and forth with chase since january. At first they wouldn't even consider me for a modification because i was current so they had me be late for 3 payments. They put me on a forbarance plane and then denied me any further modifications.they are saying that they are reviewing my status for a plan,it's been 8 months. They have managed to ruin my credit and are not willing to give a straight answer. they need to be held accountable for all the money they have recieved from they government.

I would like to be included also. I lost my home to a fire in April, 09. I sent them an insurance check on June 4th in which they received and signed for via certified mail on June 6th. As of July 29th, they still had not applied the check to the balance & I now have at least one late pay on my credit from them, if not two late pays. Here I am in situation of needing to purchase another home & from what I have been told, this will be nearly impossible based on the late pay(s) being from a mortgage. UGH!

Chase started putting our mortgage payments into an escrow account without our knowledge, making us 2 months late (by the time we found out). I requested that they move the payments we had been making into the mortgage account and reverse any negative reports to my credit. They agreed and said that that is exactly what they would do. I found out later that they had done nothing and my mortgage was then 3 months late (because all of the payments were being put into this escrow account). My House was then put into Foreclosure and I was told I couldn't make any payments while it was in Foreclosure, but it was put there because of this mix-up and they would reverse the Foreclosure and everything would be fine. Well, you guessed it, nothing was done on the account and it is still in Foreclosure and I am now considered 4 months late on my Mortgage payments.

I am curious to find out what the status is of your claim. Chase also purchased my loan from New Century. I lost my house last year due to Chase Home Finance not responding to my many attempts (over an eight month period) to short sell my house to a cash buyer. In the end Chase sold my house to an individual buyer for $39,000 less than what my cash buyer offered them.

I don't understand how a company, like Chase, can receive $25 billion from the recent "bail-out" then turn around and be non-responsive to homeowners.

I wish our Congress, Senate, someone could answer why there is no check and balance in place prior to releasing such large sums of money to these large banks?

I find it amazing going through the experience I have the last year that Chase is able to use the "bail-out" money towards purchasing other banks.

I'm with you! Chase Home Finance LOST 2 of my payments in July '08, and I have been FIGHTING EVER SINCE.

Every single Chase employee is uncompassionate, and rather arrogant. If they detect you may have an actual problem, they transfer your call. 50% of the time, the transfer winds up going back to the main call queue, and a random employee answers as if you didn't just talk to someone for half an hour! No notations on your account from the previous person you spoke with. NONE. You have to start all over from scratch. And 'round and 'round we go. 49% of the time, the transfer goes to a voicemail, which is meaningless because nobody there EVER returns your calls. And then maybe 1% of the time, you actually get transferred to a "supervisor," who has no more authority to get anything accomplished, and certainly has no more compassion or willingness to help than the previous 10,000 people you;ve spoken with.

Chase Home Finance is the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. Worse than Comcast, the previous title-holder.

Chase owes me $875 in attorney's "fees and costs," which they agreed to credit to my account FOUR MONTHS ago and still haven't. And which "customer service" or "account manager" employee at Chase is working feverishly to rectify my huge problem??? NOBODY!! I've spoken with DOZENS UPON DOZENS of Chase employees, explaining my situation thoroughly to each. I've spent WEEKS dealing with this, and right now NOBODY at Chase is working on my problems. They DO NOT CARE, and if I called them right this second, I guarantee the employee would be clueless and would require me to explain my entire situation for 30 minutes, and would then transfer my call to NOBODY. On and on we go, until I am driven completely insane and to tears, and give up.

I am currently going through a similar situation. Chase Home Finance has just started foreclosure on my home without even notifying me ahead of time. I have been in contact with them on a weekly basis. I have asked for assistance and been told that I need to be 4 months late before they will help me. I have had the past 2 months payments in my checking account and was told specifically not to make a payment in order for them to do a loan modification. I continue to get conflicting information from their customer service department. Now I have to go through some crazy process to get out of foreclosure and pay thousands in attorneys fees all because of their inadequacies. I am at a loss, I have no idea what to do. I am convinced that they are not operating within the federal guidelines. I want in on this class action lawsuit. This cannot be legal. They must be stopped. Please send me your lawyers information.

I want in on this lawsuit too. We did a short sale in 2007. When I called Chase prior to see if there was anything they could do to refinance to help with the payments they said only if we were behind on our payments. We finally did a short sale throught the VA. Well the VA sent chase a payoff check and they never applied it to the account and had me 6 months behind when we were moved out. Then after several phone calls and dispute letters they fixed the late payments but it still says settled for less. Now after the fact we had a 30 day late on our mortgage that we no longer own. I want to take Chase down. I want them to pay for ruining my credit. Email me too!!

Hi Jonathon,

I am in a similar situation with Chase Home Financial. I have had a horrible experience with them. I have been trying to resolve an issue with them since October 08 and to this day it is still not resolved causing me to pay more late payments, interest , fees, not too mention all the stress I have been through in dealing with them. I am to the point where I also want to start up a class action suit against them because I know I can not be the only one experiencing similar situations and horrible customer service. Plus they take no responsibility. Please contact me because I am very interested in joining this case. I am in the process of finding an attorney to take my case if not. My email is bella305 AT gmail.com and I will be more than happy to give you my cell # once I hear from you directly to discuss further details.

I will add to the horrible business practices that Chase and First Place Bank have. My husband and I both lost our jobs in the same year about 4 months apart from each other. Amongst other family problems, I began the workout process with our original mortgage company. I was awaiting the final papers from First Place Bank when I receive a letter that my mortgage was sold to JP Morgan Chase. I spent months arguing with Chase that there had to be some type of assistance for my situation. They kept telling the that they dont reduce monthly payments. I understand that but dont you offer some type of assistance. After 8 months of arguing and attemping to contact every government agency to prevent foreclosure, I received foreclosure paperwork. When I say every agency, I mean every agency: Hope Now, Consumer Credit Counseling, NHS of Greater Cleveland, other mortgage companies, my former mortgage company, just to name a few. I found out that Chase did have programs to help with my specific situation...why am I being discrimanated against? I have no choice but to hire an attorney and a loss mitigation specialist who proceed to call Chase on a daily basis and threaten legal action if they dont help me. I cant be discriminated against if I have the qualifying events that they list. They have helped others with the same circumstances. So in the 11th hour, Chase finally send the paperwork for the option they chose for me. I didnt even get to negotiate anything. But what do you do when your house has an auction date and your 4 year old will have no home. So here we are 6 months later, I have yet to receive anything from Chase that they are receiving my payments and actually applying them to my account. They REFUSE to send me a mortgage statement. Everytime I call they tell me to call the person Bryan who has been assigned to my case. Guess what he never calls back. No one will give me information regarding my mortgage. So based on some legal advice, I withheld my Nov. payment. NO ONE EVEN CALLED ME TO SEE WHY I NEVER MADE MY PAYMENT. So I did the same with Dec. STILL NO CALLS. My online account states that I haven't made a payment since August. WHERE IS ALL MY MONEY GOING? Today, my only mission was to get information about my loan. I was hung up on, transferred to a fax machine, told that i needed to call the phantom Bryan, and told that no information was going to be given out. Now I sit in tears, I call back and finally speak to someone who has a heart. She tells me that my payments are making it to my mortgage but she cant explain anything else to me. She can get fired for giving me just that small piece of information. What the hell is that about...its my mortgage? I am so tired of dealing with Chase and I guess I have to take what ever they deal to me because no one will help me not even our own damn government. But I am sure that Chase will be fine and all the top execs will make out with the government bailout money. I guess I write this with the hope that someone who reads this can help. I dont know where else to turn and praying just doesnt seem to help anymore.

Chase Home Finance seemed that they were working with me. I faxed a hardship letter, plus all the supporting documents that they requested in Jan and Feb of 2008, I then received a modification package on June 26, 2008, which I sent back in the pre-paid, self addressed Fed-Ex envelope that was supplied with the package on June 27, 2008. I was told to stop sending in payments while they processed the modification information and that I would receive a payment book at the new rate. I called several times and was told to be paitint and do not send any payments. I was also told that the last three payments that I sent was being held and would be used towards the modified payments. Now it is October 2008. I have been told now that forcloser procedures have been started, that the modification agreement has been misplaced and they are rechersing the matter. I need to send in a large amount of money to stop the foreclosure from going thru. YES I AM INTERESTED IN CONTACKING A LAWYER.

Thank you,

Denise

We recently lost the home our son grew up in to Chase Home Finance two years after they took our loan, I had to write my congresswoman and finally after two months of trying to contact them on a short sale offer (which was 20,000 over the price we listed at)was finally accepted and the buyer walked. They took over our loan immediately after we refi'd with Accredited Home Lenders. We tried for three years to work with them towards a refi, or a loan modification to no avail! They simply stated we signed the contract. When we put our home up for short sale as I said previously they waited for two months and we lost the spontaneity of the sale thanks to those home wreckers! I hope they rot you know where:) Please contact me at jokersince77 AT yahoo.com, I tried to email you but the site server said you had already received 4 emails today and could receive no more. Thank you!

You have not heard anything yet. JP Morgan Chase closed on a new construction loan at 1.5 million with no certificate of occupancy. I was locked out of the house for 5 months I recinded the loan told by Chase they would not fund and did anyway. I lost the sale of the house I was selling now after almost a year I get as forclosure letter. Guess what Chase I dont think so. Kelly Wogan office of the president is a goof ball. One thing for sure I will fight them until the finish any need a good attorney contact me at allancohara AT hotmail.com. Come and get me Chase.

They up our mortgage payments 1200.00 per month couldn't afford it. We tried to work with them and the next thing we knew we were loosing our home. I would like to get involved the a class action law suit. What they have done and continue to do is not right.

Mr. Copeland

I have a simular story but different I am losing my home and feel helpless to Chases bad business practices. Told so many lies to me and now they deny ever saying them . currently looking to file a lawsuit on them as well. The thing I cant understand is why they think they can do that when i have a file so thick that shows they are lying . I recieved a letter by their lawyers last week and they have begun foreclosure on my home. I am just so mentally sick over this whole thing. They will not talk to me etheir I keep getting the run around by them. Please contact me and my husband we would like to talk to you.

I have had the WORST experience with Chase Home Finance. They're servicing of my loan is PATHETIC and cruel. They messed up last year by not making an insurance payment for me out of escrow. So, the insurance company cancelled my policy! When I finally got Chase to recognize and admit to the mistake, they CHARGED me 136.00 for one day of insurance coverage until my former policy could be reinstated by Foremost. I could not believe that they made ME pay for their error. I could not believe that a bank frigged up a payment out of escrow. Also, my house's value dropped but somehow the tax escrow goes up...my payment went from 900.00 to 1230.00 for a revised escrow one month. I sent a letter asking to spread the escrow shortage over 36 months, but even though they approved that...guess what? They made me pay the first payment due of 1233!!!!! I could NOT make that payment and have since fallen behind. Does it surprise anyone here to know that this is A FIXED MORTGAGE NOT an adjustable yet I was put through what adjustable rates do to people because of Chase's ineptitude. I am so p****ed off at them. I want to join a class action suit by all means. Also I have more complaints about their calls they made about late payments. Again, I had to write a letter telling them to stop the calls (as per the law you can of course do this) as the calls were coming in BEFORE THE PAYMENTS Could be considered late and they came in like at 8 am on a Saturday which is illegal to do. Grr.

hmmmm.....

This is interesting....

This past month I was told on the phone by chase that my house payment had gone up $138.00 a month!! Did I get a notification of this - NO! Then I was told that my house payment was late!! UGH!!

The VERY first payment I made on my home was sent back to me by chase wioth a note on it that said "No such account exists". This made my FIRST Payment on my home late. Chase refused to take this off my credit report and refused to refund the late charge they issued. I wonder if this has something to do with it?

TODAY I was notified thatr my second mortgage (home equity account) payment was reduced- ironically- by the same amount that my first mortgage had gone up!! They said my interest rate was reduced- HUH!!??? I thought I had a FIXED rate loan!!! That is what I was told by my mortgage broker when he finalized the paperwork and that is what I ws told by the ATTY that THEY recoimmended I use for my closing- No wonder the housing mortgage industry is such a mess...

I would LOVE to talk to an atty about this but don;t know where to start. Sounds like I have had some of the same shady dealings that others here have had

And yes, as you can see, Chase still doesn't have the balls to post their own reply on here. I hope they are scared. They need to be REALLY SCARED!!
