Ford information on the Web is wrong

Purchased new 2008 Ford Taurus X Eddie Bauer after shopping online and comparing different standerd features on Ford and GM autos. On Ford web site Sync Voice Activated Sys is noted as standard on Eddie Bauer model. However Ford fails to tell you that the feature was only included on models made after 10/01/07. Hence the auto I purchased from the car dealer was built in Sept 07 and does not have the Sync system. Spoke to Ford Rep on the telephone and responce was not our fault buyer is to check standard items before buying. Hello Ford you advertised it as standard. Do I now have to check that you put in the air bags too? Or do I now have to check the gas tank is correct. DO NOT TRUST FORD. There appears to be a misleading error on the Web site.
