Credit Card Charges by WC * VALUE PLUS located in MN.

My credit card is being charged $16.95 per month for some service I did =

not order. I want this stopped immediately, I have called the telephone =

number listed on my credit card, 800-475-1942 and requested this =

nonsense stopped immediately. The person I talked to said she would =

discontinue the service. I also called my credit card company and =

reported this practice that has been going on for 10 months. The current =

payment charged to my credit card is being held back by the credit card =

company, but they need a confirmation cancelling number. the lady I had =

talked to said I would receive an Email identifying my request for =

cancellation and I assume the cancellation number. I called the above =

telephone number again and talked to a man named Mike who said he does =

not have access to the Email but his record shows my cancellation of the =

service. I asked for the cancellation number and he said he does not =

have access to the Email because it has not been posted yet?????. These =

predators who are receiving the monies charged to my account and other =

accounts should be run out of business and jailed. I have read several =

similar complaints about the same charges by people who also did not =

sign for or order this service.

My Credit card has been charged $16.95 for AT LEAST 5 months. After reading all the complaints I cannot understand how they can still be in business. I called to complain and after that the account was closed but have still received nothing to recoop the monies they have collected.

These memberships are established when you 1)make a purchase over the phone from an infomercial, 2)cash a live check you recieved in the mail, 3)make a purchase online w/o reading the fine print or 4)loaning your information to someone and they do one of the above without your knowledge. Membership services does not keep track of the affiliate that offered the membership to you b/c that is not their company; Membership services can only provide information pertaining to the memberships they offer. The membership benefits can only be accessed online and if you wish to cancel then you call the customer service phone number. If you call to cancel, then you are canceled and will not be billed in the future. If you request a refund, then you will show the refund on one of your following 2 statements depending on when your account generates (most callers mistake the refund for another charge).
