HHGregg The run around I received trying to arrange a service call for an appliance purchased from the HHGregg Company was appalling. So much for the illusion of "customer service." It took almost a dozen calls and hours of time to get someone remotely located from my area to ostensibly schedule a service call under an extended warranty policy for a 2 year old refrigerator. And, that was only after a prior company to which the service call was assigned refused to travel to my location because of inordinate distance. (I had to check with that local company directly to find out they weren't making the call.)
Finally, I reached somebody at some secret 800 phone number who supposedly scheduled a new mysterious service call responder who the operator could not or would not identify as to name or phone number. I was told to check with the 800 phone number a day before the scheduled call (a full week from now with my freezer leaking cold air) to see what time the call might be made. Otherwise all I was informed was that it could be between 0800 and 1700 hours. Wonderful!!!!! No local contact and I have to wait until the night before the call to even find out if it will be responded to.
MISERABLE, UNSATISFACTORY, IRRESPONSIBLE "Customer Service." I will not be patronizing HHGregg ever again.
