Termination of service without refund after 30-day warrany period
Business ReplyAt InMotion Hosting, we strive to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction in the industry. One component of our efforts is to ensure that servers housing customer websites are not blocked or otherwise restricted by third party systems. This is achieved via enforcement of our Terms of Service with respect to spam and site content, including adult material and copyright infringement.
Another component of achieving the highest in customer satisfaction is a strict privacy policy which precludes public discussion of the specifics of this customer case. Should the customer waive our privacy policy, we will be happy to publicly discuss the details of this case. The public statements, however, in this customer complaint are not governed by our privacy policy and may be discussed openly.
Of those statements, the assertion that the customer account was terminated on "frivolous accusations of violation of service agreement" is contradictory to the information communicated to the customer and purposefully misrepresents this case.
The customer also states an opinion that the actual reason for termination related to bandwidth usage. Of the thousands of customers who utilize InMotion Hosting services, we have many who consume much larger amounts of bandwidth than the value cited by this customer, and those sites continue to operate in compliance with our Terms of Service.

InMotion provides 30 days money back warranty. After 30 days InMotion terminated my account without warning and without refund on frivolous accusations of violation of service agreement. The true reason for termination is that they sold me 1000 GB per month package for 3 dollars per month. This business is clearly relies that people are not going to use all the bandwidth available to them. As I used 24 GB of bandwidth in November they came up with a claim that I violated Service Agreement and terminated my account *without prior notice* and with no refund.
