Sear Card late and over limit fees and finance charges Dear Sir, I am disputing late fees , overlimit fees and finance charges with Sears Gold Mastercard. I have sent many letters (a copy attached) and called there customer services, but in vain. Please advice me. Thank you, Sandeep Gupta

Account # 5121 ----- 0036 Dear Customer Service Representative, I dispute all late payment fees and overlimit fee total amount $ 349.99 till date. Please adjust this amount as due to 1. Mailing delays between USA and Canada, I don’t receive my statements in time. By the time I received the statement and I mailed out the payment it was past due date. 2. 2. I didn’t receive statements for few months as they may have lost in the mail. I didn’t know if I have a payment due in that month. Also couple of my payment cheque didn’t reach your service center as it may have lost in mail between USA and Canada.
3. I went to Sears store in Canada to settle the account and I was told Sear card in Canada and Sears Card in US are two different systems and they cannot accept my payment in a Sears store in Canada. I cannot avail any Sears Card promotion in Sears Store in Canada due to two different systems.
4. 4. Another occasion your customer service center told me I have to make a payment of US 96.25 to settle my account and they will reverse 2 late fees, when I called back to follow up on that, they told me it was US 101.25 not US 96.25 and they cannot reverse the 2 late fees.
5. 5. There is over limit fee on the account, initially account was opened with $10500 credit limit which was dropped without informing me and then charging me for the over limit fees. 66. Couple times my cheque, which I sent to Sears card, to settle the account was returned to me saying that I have to send a cheque drawn on a Bank located in USA, the cheque I sent, was in US funds drawn on a bank in Canada in US dollars. 7. 7. I was told by a customer service representative in your service center to fax letter to attention of billing disputes, I faxed letters to dispute all charges to my account, which later I came to know that there is no fax number for the billing dispute center. I have sent many letters in mail regarding the billing dispute and adjustment to my bill, but in vain. I have called your customer service center many times to resolve this matter and settle the account, many customer service representatives were rude and also threatened me to report this account to Credit Bureau ruining my credit history. I therefore dispute all these charges to my account and please reverse all late fees, overlimit fees and finance charges to settle my account for zero balance and close my account. I cannot afford to pay for late and overlimit fees and finance charges.
