I purchased a 2001 Chevy Blazer from Peak Kia around 9-14-07 with the

help of the Finance Manager - Christy Lawson. I attempted to trade in my

other vehicle, but was advised to take that car back to the 'buy here,

pay here' Dealer I purchased from. I left the lot that day with the info

that my first payment would be due on October 31st. I went in the

following week and gave them my $350 down payment. Christy called me the

end of October and told me that she needed me to come in and sign some

paperwork, but there was never a time that was convenient for both of

us. I even called her to come in and she told me that it wasn't a good

time for her. A few days later, October 31st, I got a message from

Christ saying that my loan approval had expired and I needed to bring

her car back to her. O called to see what went wrong, and she said that

there was nothing she could do, and she needed her car back that day. I

scrambled all day trying to find another car, but was unable to do so.

The next day, Christy called me again and said that if I didn't bring

her car back to her, she was going to call the police on me, and then

she hung up in my face. I did, get another car that day, and I dropped

the SUV off after business hours. Since that day, I have called Peak Kia

everyday to attempt to get my $350 deposit back. I have left several

messages for the General Manager and Owner - Bill Byerly, but none have

been returned. I did speak with Office Manager Rhonda Fox on 11-12 who

said there was nothing she could do for me. On 11-12 I also received a

call from Christy saying that I wouldn't get my money back, because I

had used their vehicle for so long. But, I wouldn't have used her

vehicle for so long, had I known that she wasn't able to get approved.

Please help me in attempting to get my money back. Thank you!

iT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER TO SIGN REQUIRED PAPERWORK TO FINALIZE THE SALE OF THE CAR. tHIS PERSON SHOULD HAVE Handled that when he brought in his down payment. He needed to find the time to go to the dealership and take care of business. As he was using the vehicle from September 14 through October 31st, he does not deserve a refund and is playing games. The 350.00 is appropriate for useage of the car for 6 weeks. He should stop trying to blame others for his lack of motivation to get to the dealership and conduct business.
