Empire Today-IL

When someone pays over $14,000 for a service, no matter what that services is, that company providing that services should do a professional job. The job should be done in a timely manner, done to the best of their abilities and even go beyond the call of duty to make sure they receive referrals later on from their clients. I must say, Empire Today does not do that. The initial install of my floors took over a week (with a weekend of an unfinished, disorganized house sandwiched inbetween), the product they installed was defective (there were chips in the wood in mulitple places, but yet they still installed them), they damaged my walls while installing the floors, left glue all over my walls, didn't even clean up after themselves when it came to the glue on my new floors and after a day, there were multiple areas that popped up. After this initial week long pain, they sent a guy in that checked the floors and he even said it wasn't professionally done. They came back, repaired some of the floors, some of the glue but left areas uncleaned and unrepaired. They had to come back a third time to finish what they started and I still have damaged and dirty walls and a floor that still isn't clean. When I told the customer service rep that I was done working with her company, that I would clean the floors myself, she said that the most she could compensate me for this MONTH long fiasco was $75.

Professional and Empire Today DO NOT go together in a sentence. If I messed up a clients request three times, I would have been fired by that client and he would never tell anyone ever to go to see me for service. That is what I would tell anyone else that is thinking of getting floors put in. I will NEVER refer a potential client to Empire Today and I will tell as many people as I can to stay away from them. They should also know that a dissatisfied client will tell over 8 people of how poor their service was compared to one or two by a satisfied client. If I paid $500 for something like this, I would expect $500 in service, but when I drop over $14,000 for service, I expect that service to be done in a professional manner. If that is what you expect as a customer, professionalism, DO NOT GO TO EMPIRE TODAY.
