Re: Dell Canada Peripheral Equipment

I purchased a Dell printer A920 in Feb 2005. I was not aware nor was it disclosed to me that the printer cartridges must be purchased from Dell. Over the course of time I had nothing but problems as I do go through the cartridges quickly, I could not get them when I need them and they refused to deliver to the door and I had to drive about 20 miles to the courier where they sent them and they would only deal with the one courier. For all the problems they promised me two free cartridges and they never arrived when I contacted the Dell they did not respond to my e-mail.

Suddenly the printer stopped recognizing the cartridges and will not work period it does not matter if it is the new Dell cartridge or refill neither will work. I had it into a printer repair shop and they could not help because they can't get parts. I emailed Dell one week ago to find out if there was a local authorized repair service and got no response today I called customer service for peripherals and basically the printer's warranty expired, Dell does not fix the printer...they do not have parts. I am still making payments on this printer. There also is no authorized service center in the Vancouver area. Dell is more into their profits and the bucks then customer service and satisfaction.
