Steering rack/pinion from Meridian Auto Parts

Steering rack/pinion from Meridian Auto Parts I purchased a steering rack and pinion from Meridian Auto http://www.meridianautoparts.com/ and (www.discountsteering.com). The part is broken/faulty. They will not cover for any of the auto shop bill I have incurred or the rental car. Luckily my mechanic feels so badly for me, they are not going to charge me to have the new part installed. Meridian/discountsteering.com did not want to listen to anything. I had to pay another $225 deposit to have them ship out another part to my mechanic. This company is based in San Diego, California. When I/dealer received the "new" dvd player it was in horrible condition with scratches and scuffs all over it! It appears that the player was removed from maybe a totaled vehicle by some idiot who didnt have a care or clue how to properly remove it. Im currently in the process of trying to have this situation resolved but Im sure I wont be able to get anywhere with these idiots or the cheapskate warranty company...
