Sears Appliances

Almost 2 years ago I bought a Jenn-air refig.from Sears. Two weeks ago I called Sears for service because I bought the extended warranty. The tech came and said it was the ice maker and to keep the arm up and the noise would stop. Memorial Day the refrig died and all the food melted and spoiled. Sears could not get to me for another week. I said how do you live without a refri. They did not care. The tech came , the same man that was here the week before and said the compressor went we will have to order one for youand that will take 7-10 days. so when you get it call us for an appointment. I was livid and said, how will I manage without a refrig for all that time? I called there service department about the serc-ve call and they said,"the technician cancelled your part order because you yelled at him." So now we have to send another tech to see the problem and re order the part. As I write this i am still without a refig and who knows when it will get fixed. I use to be a loyal customer of Sears but never again and I hope they go out of buisness because of the way they treat their customers. It has been a long, emotional and upsetting experiance and I will never do buisness with them or Kmart again.

First of all when you get loud or verbally abusive with an employee of any company they have the right to refuse youre service.....NO matter how upset you are. Being rude to people will never help you solve your problem and second if you have a protection agreement from sears then you are entitled to recieve a reimbursement for a rental until your fridge comes in......Read your paperwork on the agreement.
